    You guys overrate lowry as if he was the MIP. Trading Brooks would be tragic if we're not getting a allstar guard back. Start lowry, a fast pace guard, with Yao a slow half court post guy would be huge step backwards for our franchise. Not mention lowrys terrible jumpshot :rolleyes:

    Wallace does not fit in Rick's system, even brad miller said it.
    Wallace is a good basketball player in the right system and the rockets are not one of them.

    but he would balance are roster out quite a bit :eek:

    Please shoot me if Lowry becomes the starting PG.

    Lowry's a good backup but this would be a massive fail.

    THANK YOU!!! It took until the 24th post in this thread before someone mentioned this little nugget???

    Aaron Brooks is the only Rockets PG who can currently be traded.

    Neither Lowry nor Ish Smith can be traded until Dec. 15 (since both were recently signed free agents). Also, Lowry needs to consent to any trade for the next year or so. And Lowry CANNOT be traded to Cleveland (which signed him to the offer sheet the Rockets matched) for a year.

    Other than that, go ahead and trade Lowry right now! ;) :p

    Seriously though? Gerald Wallace is the major upgrade at SF that Morey has been searching for. Defense better than Ariza or Battier and offense like they expected from Ariza. Good player.

    The guy averages 18/10.

    Now, he probably won't be as good defensively as Battier, but I would put him as the starting 3 immediately, if I get Wallace.

    how?? brooks for the bait. budinger or hill for potential young talent. jeffires for the expiring contract, and taylor for a filler. you gotta give good to get good dude.

    Either one of our PGs(preferably Lowry) plus Battier for G Force.

    Heck if they don't budge then give them a pick or two for the All Star.

    Wallace is exactly what we need on the team.
