I think Psycho T's ceiling is Luis Scola. It'll take lots of work on his skills to get there, but he has the most important part of Scola's game down: hustle every play. If he turns out to be 80% of Scola then that's a good pick.

and here I thought Scola was an extremely efficient mid-range shooter with incredible strength, a knack for rebounding, and a combination of sneaky post moves that allowed him to finish on bigger players.

Despite popular belief, you can be the hardest working guy out there and be a terrible basketball player. Not saying Hansbrough will be terrible but hustle alone doesn't make a good player.

He has had a decent showing so far in the summer league.

    Game 1 - 17 Points 5 Boards
    Game 2 - 23 Points along with 2/2 on 3 Pointers

Hence the word 'ceiling'. Trevor Ariza's ceiling can be a healthy Tmac, it doesn't mean he'll ever get there. Psycho T could become 80% of Scola if he works really really hard and adds something to his game every summer.

Hansbrough has had quite the first two games over in Orlando. Who knew he could shoot?

I'm rootin' for the guy though.

There has been a ton of players who have lit it up in summer leagues and the D-League only to suck in the NBA or never even get a chance because of obvious defiiciencies in their games.

In other words, I wouldn't put too much stock in these summer league performances.

Donte Green put up 40 last summer and never came close to making an impact in his first season despite playing on a bad team with Kevin Martin and Francisco Garcia out for a bunch of games and John Salmons getting traded at the deadline.

Von Wafer was a summer league stud and he still hasn't found a place to stick in this league. Last season was his first productive one and we are about to sign another wing over him.

Hustle every play? Gimme a break, Scola is one of the most talented players on the team, he's not just freakishly athletic. Athletecism is just one aspect of being talented  Heck talent isn't even the be all and end all of player production, there's also skill which Scola has in spades.

Hustle is important but if its the major component of Scola's game then why isn't someone like Mike Harris on the team, I'm pretty sure he worked harder and put in more effort than Scola during his stay here.

Hustle is the most important part of Ryan Bowen's game also, that's why JVG loved him.

Tyler will need much more than hustle, if he is going to be 80% version of Luis Scola.

On what grounds?!! Ariza has NEVER, EVER come close to putting up even T-Mac's worst numbers. Now his ceiling is a healthy T-Mac? That's golden.

Do you know what the word ceiling means?

    Tmac's 2nd worst:
    9.3 ppg, 4 rpg, 3 apg.

He's never even come close to those numbers? You are golden.

He shot 85 percent from the free throw line in college. Name me a player that shot that kind of percentage from the line that couldn't shoot.

The guy broke the record for scoring in NC. Granted he was a four year guy but who thinks the guy can't score? He seemed to have a pretty good jumper whenever I've seen the guy play.

Who else is close in terms of White Americans? Most white players these days seem to be European.
