The most recent bender I can remember: Pub crawl in Munich. Started off with 4 beers beforehand, had two beers and two shots of jager at the first place, a shot of schnapps en route to the next bar, a beer and a shot of jager at the there, two shots of schnapps en route to the final bar, and then it all went hazy. I remember that the last bar had 1.50 shots of jager, so I probably pounded down a few more before my night ended. I was fine with the beer and jager, but the utterly atrocious shots of cherry schnapps that the guide was handing out eventually did me in. After violently hurling at the last bar, I managed to hail a cab and return to my hotel despite not speaking a word of German. I ended up falling asleep slumped over the toilet and couldn't eat a thing until like 5 PM the next day
Not sure... spring break 2001: drank a 1.75 of vodka in about 8 hours with a few beers mixed in. Never got sick or felt sick. That was the peak of my drinking days. I was shooting 6-8 ounces of vodka at a time. Grossssssss. 21st bday, dec 2001: 8 shots, 5 double shots, 4 beers, 3 gin&tonics, 64 oz margarita. Had all of that in about 4 hours. I drove home. Felt fine. Played playstation after i got home at 3 am. Then, around 4, room started spinning and i tripped balls for about 2 hours. Never got sick. NOW - If i drink 4 or 5 beers I'll feel like dogcrap for 3 days. Just never drink anymore. Don't miss it. Like saving that money.
I gotta agree with this. I always found it hilarious in college hearing the people list everything they had to drink the night before. If you're having fun, how the hell do you remember down to the exact detail how many drinks you had (especially when you have the guys who like like 3-4 different kinds of drinks and 5+ different kinds of shots)? After I'm good and liquored up, cataloging my drink count is the last thing on my mind. Just keep bringing me alcohol. I can understand when it is something easy to reference though, i.e., a case or two of beer, half of a fifth of rum, etc.
I had 5 margaritas in the span of 45 minutes last month. One more and I think I would have puked my guts out. A couple of years ago, I drank 2 bacardis, 2 Heinekens (sp?), a rum and coke, and 2 Bud Lights within a span of 3 to 4 hours. I had a pretty strong buzz; didn't drive back to where I was staying, took a taxi instead.
Uh, I carried your drunk ass down Beale street in Memphis to our hotel last December. I think that one counts. GO COOGS
