23 shots of quervo and 5 1/2 cups of icehouse beer. if i did that these days i would be dead. i had one hell of a tolerance back then.
I don't actually recall the last few hours very clearly, but it was either 32 or 36 16 oz Busch tallboys Spring break 1988 in Padre. I was so drunk that when I woke up the next morning, I poured a beer into a bowl of frootloops and ate it. Yum. We counted the beer that was left the next morning to figure the number of beers I had drank. It was over the course of about 18 hours though. I still can't believe I lived through high school.
My band has a gig in Texarkana this weekend, so I will most likely post an updated response to this question on Monday morning….
Dinner party: 2 glasses of champagne, 1 glass of wine, 3 bottles of beer. Next we head out to the bars to celebrate the remainder of my friend's b-day: 2 car bombs, 12 random shots (tequila, goldschlager, jager, etc), probably 2 more beers. Although my most embarrassing experience was splitting a bottle of Wild Turkey w/ a friend, then 4 hours later go to work at my internship at 8 am in the morning. Suffice it to say my friends smelled me coming about a mile away. I tried to keep a 10 ft radius around me to avoid the disgrace w/ the bosses.
That's the correct answer. I love how these people remember the 30 drinks they had down to the number of drinks per alcoholic beverage.
I had about 12 shots and a couple beers on my birthday. Too many of those shots had red bull, and I could not sleep until 5 am. It was awful.
Oh I'm starting to like shots with red bull!! Last friday, I had two and I was able to stay awake for 24 hours...COOL!
Straight Jager is so much better tasting than Jager bombs. I don't get why people mix Red bull with it.
only reason i know is because everyone sat there and watched me and the other girl take the shots. she ended up with 22 shots i had 23. plus i had those 5-6 beers. ill state again if i did that right now i would Die.
Well.....isn't it the norm for your friends that watched you get hammered to count and tell you the next day? Could be a possible explanation. Or maybe that's what I always did to my friends the next day. Whatever.
which makes me think of another question i had. since there's so much caffeine in Red Bull, would it not be dangerous to mix with liquor?
I dont like stay awake that long unless I'm in Vegas or something! Last time I was in Vegas I slept like 8 hours over 3 days. That was pretty fun. I then came home and hibernated.
Didn't a couple of people die in the UK or another Euro country because of this? Me thinks it was in the news earlier this year or last year.
