This is a crazy story. I saw him being interviewed after the pick but didn't know what they were referring to. This kind of thing was bound to happen sooner or later, with these kids so active on social media. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often, frankly.
Hope this kid gets some good guidance in the NFL from someone. The people around him seem like trash. I don't know how I would deal with all this at his age, but he needs to fire his agent asap.
His agent let him talk to reporters and answer those questions, should have had a gag order on until they could find out what was going on since it was happening in real-time. Then the agent's statement was pretty freaking ridiculous too.
Don't think he said anything damning until after he was drafted, at which he is pretty much locked into his contract so not much further harm could be done really.
They don't but with the rookie pay scale, there is no negotiation so they either sign him or they don't. Very doubtful they would do the latter.
Apparently he and his camp have known about the video, and that someone was maliciously trying to spread it for money, for a while now. They informed all the teams that this could/would happen. So, realistically, he would have been prepared to answer/field questions about the video (which he pretty much was). Nothing he said to that affect seemed really off-base or damaging. However, things seemed to go off the rails when the instagram text-convos broke. That is when they shut the interviews down. Although really, nothing about the instagram stuff can affect him personally now that he's out of the NCAA.
McShay is catching some heat for basically calling Tunsil a "sell-out." http://www.chron.com/sports/texans/article/ESPN-s-Todd-McShay-raises-eyebrows-with-sell-7383367.php
Good. As he should be. The sanctimonious wankers who prop up the NCAA cartel and college sports plutocracy deserve all the roasting they get. Telling the truth at a press conference doesn't have one damned thing to do with your ability to be an NFL player.
Yep. Not sure what type of guy Tunsil really is but with Nkemdiche selling him out at the combine, his step dad suing him, and the draft-day hack, probably best for him to just come out clean. He gets nothing out of lying at this point.

Two funny parts I read out of the previous posts, twitter quotes, etc.. 1.) He learned about it from the "green" room. Umm...yeah! I'm sure he did. 2.) It was an isolated incident. Umm...yeah. You probably bought the gas mask just so you could do this. If by isolated you mean a couple times a week for several months, then I believe you. Nobody just has a gas mask lying around. I thought it was funny as hell how it all went down. We might as well have been watching a scene from the movie "Draft Day" as in Costner's character asking him: "Laremy...at your 21st birthday party in college...how many of your teammates were there?" Tunsil: "Honestly, sir, I don't remember." "I bet you don't!"
