yep. Awesome post. Nail on the head type of business there JAG. Time for Langhi to stop missing his first shot all the time. I wouldn't be surprised to find that he never made his first shot last year.

Most of us who post on this sight are very intelligent. Please do not judge Dan Langhi on summer league performance. The game is sloppy and the defense is pretty power.

However, Dan's defense does look a little shaky and against top flight NBA 2 or 3, he will struggle on the defensive end. In addition, I do not see him getting that many shots if we resign Mo and Shandon, especially with the addition of Terrence Morris and Eddie Griffin.

I haven't been that impressed with Terrence Morris, however, a good point guard (Steve and Moochie) can improve your game quickly.

We must start developing the younger talent, which means trading Walt and Bull since they will take up time from Langhi, Terrence, and Shandon if he resigns.

I think people are forgetting this is technically Langhi's rookie year. He didn't get a lot of playing time, so he is practically inexperienced.

Langhi hit his first shot yesterday. Not to mention the next 4 or 5 also.

The airball actually came quite late into the game after Langhi caught fire, so even if Langhi is able to get "hot on demand" as JAG said, he might still throw up an airball anytime. It happened just like that yesterday. It's either all air or all net with Danforth.

    Let's see.

Francis, Mobley, Langhi, Walt, Bullard, MO T, all of them suck on defense.

I guess we should get rid of them all.

I haven't noticed Mo Taylor sucking on defense. I've noticed him playing very unspectacular, position defense... but he seems a credible threat to at least prevent some scoring [IMG].

I think bad defense is the reason why SHandon will stay a rocket. Walt NEEDS to be traded, or cut, or something, because he is a streaky shooter who can't play defense at this point in his career. Thats also why picking up TMO is so important..becuase he can guard SG, SF, and PF position well, kinda like Horry can. But the rockets still need perimeter defense instead of shotblockers who camp out inside.

I think they are all tired after playing back-backs in both LA AND Utah. Once the legs go, then the shot. I was impressed by his fundamental shot in the first half. I didn't watch the 2nd half, but he was stroking it in the 1st half. It was pretty shooting.

There was a comment made by Rudy about Griffen hitting the rookie wall just in the summer.
