Not sure why y'all are hating on Kiffin. Aside from being an ass USC might have 2 Kiffin's and Chow? That's an all-star cast that will have NFL talent continuing to flock to USC. Probably the best coaching ensemble in college football. Carroll was bored. Ill go out and say this edition of coaches is more hungry and will be more effective than Carroll would have been over the next couple of years.

According to the Knoxville News-Sentinel a group of student chanted obscenities at Kiffin. And they weren’t nice ones either. Fans also spray painted how they felt about Kiffin on “The Rock”. The Knoxville news has some photos of students being slightly more polite. Vols basketball player Renaldo Woolridge reports on Twitter that thousands of student chased Kiffin’s car down the street as he left campus. He tweeted that tear gas was used on the crowd and that fire trucks arrived at the scene. Wes Rucker of the Chattanooga Times-Free Press reports via Twitter “#Vols DE Ben Martin said he and other players walked out of the meeting before Kiffin was finished. “I just couldn’t sit through it.”" Tuesday night USC officially announced that Kiffin would replace Pete Carroll as their head football coach. In a brief press conference Tuesday night where Kiffin didn’t take questions he said, “This was not an easy decision. I really believe this is the only place I would have left to go.”

This is absolutely ridiculous. These kids need to get their $hit together. BTW, read that the recruits who were enrolling early were suppose to start school TOMORROW, they were called and told not to enroll. This is pretty bad.

USC had been a top 4 program for 7 consecutive years. USC did lose two pro bowl players in the draft as well as sanchez and some of their defense. If I had to guess I bet Kiffin will not do as well as pete just because pete set the bar so insanely high.
Why's Tennessee so upset with Kiffin leaving? Granted I don't know much about the guy but what's he got on his resume that's so prestigious and causing such outrage?

Kiffin was a pretty big splash for Tennessee. He was also bringing in a very good recruiting class and from what I've read, 8 guys have already decommitted. And now he's bailing after one season. I'd be pretty pissed as well, but those kids are overreacting. This is pretty nuts...Kiffin gets hired on by Tennessee, bad mouths the entire SEC for recruiting violations, has 3 kids arrested and kicked off the team, gets the program probed for violations itself, and is now trying to steal recruits for USC while still on campus, all in ONE year!
