Landry was the one we should never have traded.

The chances of this happening is like depending on the Rockets to win a game late in the 4th quarter in the 2010/2011 season.

At this point, the Rockets need to give up almost anything to get this guy. Both picks, Martin, Brooks, Shane, etc.

I agree that no one has stepped up to be the Rockets closer in the fourth quarter, like Landry was last year, but the team has more issues than that at the moment.

The start of this season reminds me of coach's first year with the Rockets, he seemed to not have a firm grasp on what the team needed to succeed and all of the sudden things started clicking.

The ship will be righted, coach will have a rotation set, maybe mix in a trade and all will be ok. It's never easy win the team loses but I choose to be patient and believe.

What exactly would Ariza do, help throw up more bricks? let more people through the lane untouched to get Yao in foul trouble?

Quoted for truth. A trade for Melo needs to happen. Hell even Iggy. We need a closer and Melo is definitely one, and Iggy takes those clutch shots you need.

Landry isn't the answer. He would have only played 10mins a game anyway, since Scola has to have 36 mins of PT every game regardless of performance.

Seriously. I see no reason he would want to come here.

Maybe Martin shouldn't get huge rests in favor of Lee in the second half.

    Just sayin..

Martin and Melo can work extremly well together. Martin can score so much in few shots, and is not that 4th quarter player, and Melo is the star clutch player. We need Melo without trading Martin.

It is Carl Landry who makes the difference

Carl Landry is the guy who fight for every board and possession, he brings energy and agressiveness whenever he is on the court. last season when he was traded to the kings, rockets started a losing streak immediately.
