I really hope Adelman goes back to playing Landry and Scola together, that seems to work very well at times.

Landry does a lot of things well. He rebounds well, seems to come up with more than his share of loose balls, has a very effective outside shot and finishes strong in the lane. On defense, he's not a great on the ball defender and he's short for his position. Overall, he's probably a bit better than Scola on offense but a bit worse (for now) on defense. I don't think it matters whether he starts or not, but he should be playing at least 20 minutes per game.

Come on now.... Landry is a better post defender than he is given credit for.
He is no chuck hayes but i think because of his leaping ability and quickness. he is better at challenging shots.... IE celtics preseason game, scola was eaten alive by KG and landry came in there and did not a great job but a better job than scola.

I'm not saying landry should start, i just think landry is better defensively than you give him credit for.

Don't get me wrong, Scola isn't a very good on the ball defender either. He's just a bit harder to back down.

Let's hope that both Scola and Landry can do a good job on KG tonight ... I doubt they will but one can always hope!

I like Landry's energy coming off the bench.

How is that possible when was Landry who started that game and once KG went to the bench Scola came in?

BTW Scola won the game twice that game, but the Ref did not call the goal tending and was void his last second shot.

Pls get your facts straight.

"Scola can create for himself, Landry needs others to create for him. Scola is a better defender too.

    So no."

I don't get this. If you are of the opinion that Landry needs others to create for him, shouldn't he be with Alston, Mcgrady, Artest, and Yao who can create opportuinities for him?

I don't know if Landry should start or not...I just know he should get a lot of minutes and should be given the opportunity to compete for the starting job. He has bad games and good games, but overall he has been fantastic.

On the if it ain't broke, don't fix it crowd....to me that should only be used in basketball for the defending champs and definitely not for a team that hasn't been out of the first round in tinman knows how long.
