Landry just opens the game up for the Rockets. If you noticed this game they couldn't smother T-Mac because Jax, Battier and Landry were hitting their shots.

With the defense laying off him a bit McGrady got going too - and we win.

Landy was so incredible at finishing tonight. He was rebounding great. Does that make him the poor man's Amare? He's fantastic!

100% agree with the original post. Without Landry, it was quite simple: win if the 3's fall, lose if not.

Exactly, Landry forces defenses to stay true or get burned on the offensive boards or with a dunk off a dish.

You can see how ineffective Scola and Head are at finishing off a pass - scola is a post player whereas head creates for himself or off a handoff from t-mac.

With Landry everyone all of a sudden scores again and t-mac's play improves vastly.

Tommorow will be a real test of this theory that Landry is T-mac's best friend.

Landry is a better second option then Rafer. The order should be

    Tmac
    Landry
    Scola

Yes but Landry makes it easier for the 3's to fall.

Landry's the missing ingredient. The key. Now we just have to get our confidence and rhytm back that we had before he went down.

By the way, we still need a guy like Scola. Our team depends on being flexible - for example, not starting mutombo tonight. With the variation of pieces we have, it makes us stronger.

Although I'd like to see brooks a bit more.
