Landry isn't even integrated into the offense yet. He's just out there making hustle plays and getting garbage rebounds for putback dunks. If they start posting him up and running plays for him, watch out!

he's not going to cost $400k much longer...maybe as soon as after the season ends, if some reports on his contract are correct.

Rockets have a team option on his contract next year I believe, but I fully expect them to offer him a nice little extension long before he has a chance to hit the FA market. Hopefully Morey is able to clear a little salary space by moving someone like Snyder so that it happens sooner rather than later. Obviously Landry's development is way ahead of schedule at this point.

some reports like the chronicle had him with just a 1 year contract, others have him with a 2 with the 2nd being a team option.

next time Daryl Morey gets on the radio, someone might want call in and clarify

Landry and Scola are foul prone, so three PFs are better.

landry brings energy and power, hustle and scoring and rebounding..i'm glad adelman is beginning to realize this that the only thing hayes is bringing at the PF position is rebounding and hustle. That's not good enough at all and little man brings speed and we actually have scoring threats and talent in more than 2 positions this time so it's great. SF3 and Mike James i'm afraid are washed up already. SF3 apparently acted like he was doing rockets a favor when accepting less money but apparently with that attitude he didn't work hard and so he deserves what he's getting right now.

Landry is awesome because he has a winner's attitude and great work ethic and athleticism. I think his work ethic is one of the best because most players in the nba have talent but not the work ethic to make them succeed. Landry has the work ethic and talent. Plus he seems really strong when he goes for the rebound or drives in to score.

He seems to have a great relationship with Deek, and i love that big man, a student and a gentelmen of the game, i think we underestimate having a player like that on our bench and at practice...... But i agree, landry is a straight up baller. morrey has really impressed me and i cant wait to see how he jacks up our squad for next season, though i have high expectations for our finish to this one. People will know this kids name when its all said and done.

I believe he is easily our most athletic guy, considering T-Mac's health problems and cautious play! I love the guy! I can't wait to go to the Rox v. Clips game in March and get him to add his signature to my Rockets hate.

I can definitely confirm that there is a team option on the 2nd year of his contract. I'm sure they'll extend him sometime during next season though, if they don't do it during the offseason. They definitely aren't going to allow him to hit the FA market and lose to a higher bidder.

Can't argue with 8.6 pts on 89% shooting, 4.7 boards and only one turnover TOTAL in only 13.8 mpg in his last 7 games.

    That's 29.9 ppg and 16.3 rpg per 48 minutes. I'll take that.

In few more years, he will be better player than Stromile Swift.

The only need that Stromile Swift filled was that of dumbest player on the team.

Man, I absolutely love the way this kid plays. Our rookies this year are all very good and becoming big contributors to the team.
