I agree, they are not very good but until Granato starts his new show I'll listen to this as it's better than 790 and better than anything on FM
The different voices act is horrendous. "I'm a gay gay and I talk like this." "I'm a redneck and I talk like this." "I'm a black guy and I talk like this." "But actually we are the same stupid guy doing horrible voices, making conversation with myself." It is completely unlistenable.
I have to agree, Walton and Johnson is the most insulting crap I've EVER heard on the radio. I can feel myself get stupider anytime I accidentally cross it on the radio.
It's a lost cause. MVD and Andre Ware just don't have it. I predict AM610 will realize this fairly soon and make a change. It will be humiliating but eating humble pie is better than watching your ratings tank.
Walter and Johnson are just recycling the same dull 'morning zoo' crap that every other morning DJ in the country is doing.
Whats just as bad is all the "djs" now have to talk real loud and fast, like they are always super hyper and excited about something. That's what I prefer Dean & Rog, they are pretty laid back.
Walton and Johnson blow. I've given 790 a second chance...I've chosen them over 610 in the mornings now.
thats my normal morning listening....at least they play music, which is all I really like anyway. a real shame about their distaste for the Rockets and the NBA in general. The "scam" sucks, i dont change the channel, jus turn it down W&J suck for reasons already stated + they are pretty much what BigTexx and TJ woudl sound like if they had a morning show.
