But you're supposed to believe this is all Luhnow's plan. That these "injuries " are fake news, and we are just resting guys. Sure.
Oh I know there's a plan, them boys are smart. S.M.R.T. But this pitching staff can't go on like this much longer if you want anyone to have an arm left in August, much less October.
CFs is so knee-jerk sometimes. These guys are going to be fine. Can weather the storm and come back strong. This is a team of destiny. Have some faith!
silver lining, this is a luxury of being so far ahead record wise, the team can afford to be super cautious with injuries also silver lining, chance to give prospects valuable experience and evaluate/showcase them
The injuries are not planned. Having all the guys down at once is not planned. That said, I'm not sure Musgrove would have gone to the DL 5 years ago. I'm not sure McCullers would have been sent to the DL 5 years ago. I'm not saying they aren't hurting as all pitchers hurt after starting a game. I'm saying Astros are probably monitoring pitchers physicals closely and determining when to rest them based on when they need rest instead of what happens with other pitchers. Keuchel, Morton, and McHugh all look to be things that could have put a guy on DL in the past.
No, i'm just saying what bill o'reillys ass would say. Bill o brien is kinda spelled like bill o reilly. This brings us to pinhead
