I'm not surprised Lance doped. The only thing I'm surprised about is how petty you're being. Although I suppose I shouldn't be, given your posting history.

Congratulations on being vindicated, Lance is a cheater and a jerk. Two things we all pretty much already knew. I feel no guilt or regret in pointing out your raging, cartoonish bias and how silly this entire process has been up to now. I'm GLAD they finally built a solid case and released it to the public, because everything that had transpired to this point was ridiculous. I have no rooting interest for Armstrong, I am not on his side, as much as you'd like to think I am. The only person here being (passive) aggressive and bitter here is you. You think you are owed a pat on the back and an apology, I'd say that's pretty bitter.

What was raging and cartoonish was how Armstrong threatened and mobbed people like Emma O'Reilly, ruining her financially and labeling her as a prostitute or people like Betsy Andreu and many other Armstrong victims.

I consistently pointed out that this was

as Travis Tygart, chief executive of the US Anti-Doping Agency called it.

There is nothing cartoonish in that, and there is nothing petty in pointing out that, in fact, I was right all along (I did wait quite a while and would not have done it, had you and others had the class to simply say "okay, I was wrong"), whereas you said:

This post clearly shows that you did not want the truth to come out.

If you claim otherwise now, you are simply lying.

    End of story.

What is clearly shows is that I thought it was an asinine waste of time and money. I still feel that way. I feel like nothing was accomplished. What I will admit is that I was wrong that they would ever catch him. I figured that ship had sailed, but I was wrong. Tygart brought the wood, and brought it hard. You were right that they would nail him. You had more faith in that happening than I did, I will fully admit.

And aside from that, you are still one of my favorite posters, even though you are probably angry at me now.

I goaded you quite a bit and acted adversarial and contrarian to you throughout this, so I expected some blowback.

Armstrong is a confirmed cheater and a doucher. It sucks for anybody who believed in him, but the good thing is it's over.

What he clearly needs to make amends for is the attacking he did to his accusers, and not the cheating itself.

And for the record, I think Jan Ullrich doped just as Armstrong did - the reason why I am on such a vendetta against Armstrong is not because of Euro/USA, it's because he is such an ass and was so aggressive about covering up his lies, trying to ruin and destroy people who were in his way. Lying out of desperation to protect yourself is one thing, but what he did was in a totally different category.

Satisfaction that a major douche is not going to get away with all he did. It would have been a slap in the face for all his victims and the integrity of all of sports if he had gotten away with it.

Let's see how many people will watch the Oprah interview before proclaiming that.

"I was used to controlling everything in my life - I controlled every outcome in my life."

"I didn't invent the culture - but I didn't try to stop the culture."

Trying to portray himself as just one of many who did it.

That's probably partly true, but he is still trying to downplay his guilt.

He said sorry, but he doesn't seem to be honest.

I'll be honest, this is probably among the most interested I have been in any interview, ever.
