lamar odumb disappears against tough physical teams like boston in last year's nba finals..

just don't put brent barry on him...

I really hope someone boxes out on this guy EVERY time......the offensive rebound he gets are soo annoying......if we don't stop odom getting rebounds we're in deep trouble...

its so strange to see scola not getting as many rebounds as he normally gets

Scola, Landry and Hayes have been guarding Odom? I get your point but it seems like Artest is the one guarding Odom 90% of the time. Truth be told: Odom hasn't really hurt us besides on the glass. I'll take that 8 PPG he's averaging any day of the week.

Here's a picture/reminder of a Scola's Argentina team knocking Odom and Team USA out of the Olympics:

Odom has spurts of good offensive streaks, but can also disappear into oblivion at times as well. When the Lakers needed him most in the Finals last year...where was he? Lakers could have won without Bynum last year, it was the absence of Odom that put the nail in LA's coffin in the Finals.

I second this motion and the OP's original thoughts as well, Odom is garbage.

He may have some issues getting his game together, but that doesn't mean he can't have a huge night any given game. I think we've been playing him well, and we need to keep it up. I don't think (hope...) kobe can keep hitting all those crazy jumpers, and we need Odom to not be there when they need him.

If its easy to get into his head then why screw with Kobe chants? Kobe is used to it and uses it as motivation. Take the rest of the guys out of the game by screaming all sorts of things about their moms. If Odom takes the bait thats less offensive boards for LA and more for Scolandry.

I thought this was a true appreciation thread. The guy is a highlight reel of muckups and bloopers. His running out of bounds in G1 was hilarious.

I think his walking to the staples center thing was kind of contrived but I have a hard time understanding Queens NBA players.

    a

under the defense of scola, odom will make no sense.scola should become more offensive so that rockets can get the victory easily.
i really cannot find the reason why fakers needs one player like him, he just makes a little contribution to the team agaist Rockets!

Odom is nothing more than Stromile Swift with about 10% more talent, motivation and intelligence.

Dude, when I first saw the name of the thread, I was like WTF!!!
But now I see, I guess i should have expected it from clutchfans.
But Odom is really a punk. He tries to bully guys like scola who won't retaliate, but when he gets to guys like KG, and Artest he is a little choir boy.
He never plays consistent, and tell me why he is not starting and Ariza is?
    Because he is SOFT!!

Since we're talking Odom. Here are some lowlights. Btw Garrison, one of the officials for tonight, is in the bottom left clip, so I wouldn't be too pleased with the crew.
