14-26 FT, 53 %. If Lakers don't pull this one out, they know what they have to blame for the loss. Can't miss free throws on the road.

pierce is playing some ridiculous defense on kobe. kobe cannot get past him AT ALL.

it's not yao's fault though. yao is a great option, but it's not something you run EVERY DAMN TIME DOWN THE COURT (or a term brooks used - "force feed").

it's adelman's fault. he's an offensive genius. he should devise plays to get guys good shots.

This game means more to the Lakers.

If they lose to Celtics without KG late in game, they will suffer psychological damage.

why aren't the lakers fouling? wow stupidity at its finest. reminds of our game 7 where we wasted tons of time before fouling.

this is going to be heartbreaking. up 1 with 3 seconds. boston hasn't missed these shots the last 2 seasons.

fisher with the solid open field tackle. not sure what rondo was going to do if he wasn't tackled. he was just dribbling out the clock.

sweet, just foul the crap out of them and hope they don't call it (kind of boston's whole defensive strategy coming back to bite them). don't even let them get the shot off.

lakers end a 19 and 12 game winning streak by the same team in one season. that probably doesn't happen much.

kobe can't even keep a straight face.

Fisher rode him the entire way... of course, you only have to ask Brent Barry about how the refs treat Derek Fisher's "defense" in the final seconds of big games.
