or just bad offense by pierce. why would you iso at the top of the key with 7 seconds left and waste 4 seconds just dribbling in one spot?
trust me, they are. not all clutch shots, but when the game is in their hands, they always seem to execute poorly. either they don't get it to kobe or kobe gets it and somehow takes a really bad shot. it's been going on for about 4 or 5 years now, it's not like i'm just noticing it tonight. i've watched them plenty.
why can't adelman adapt and run more of the triangle offense? that offense allows for both isos and ball movement, depending on the situation.
I was patting myself on the back for being right as usual. But alas it went to OT. Still could happen in OT though. Seems like neither team can pull away.
****ing-A gasol jump for the rebound. just stares at perkins fighting for it. and kobe is just chucking now.
Dont forget who is the Laker's coach and that might be why Kobe has the approval to take those tough shots.
what the everloving hell was that fastbreak by the lakers? kobe fouls pierce (who doesn't get a call) to give them an easy 2-on-1 and kobe just stops with the ball instead of taking the easy layup. and then gasol almost charges and is now missing the ft's. ray allen shouldn't be able to stop a 1-on-1 with kobe bryant, much less a 2-on-1.
Um, how in the world was that not a 24-second violation? The Lakers absolutely did not have control of the ball when the buzzer went off.
the lakers tell you what a mobile big man can do who can play the low post and run the floor? it's so hard to double gasol and there are so many ways to get him the ball. with us, all we do is pound yao the ball and either he takes a shot or we shoot 3s. so damn predictable. only wish scola is more athletic and able to finish around the rim better. if he did, we may run more of the offense soley around him.
This is why i hate tht yao is just a cash cow for CD.....b/c i would really love to trade him for a mobile big man...or trade him for other good players and play a mobile center (with size) in our starting 5
