One of you guys is a LOT closer to being right than the other. My choice is #2. I rarely start threads but just prior to the season (or pre-season), I'm might create a poll on projected win total for the Lakers. Maybe a better one would ask if they will finish closer to the league's worst record or closer to the 8th seed in the West.
It's basically guessing how healthy will Kobe, Pau, Nash and Jordan Hill be. All of them have to play major minutes and play well for the Lakers to contend for a playoffs spot. I'd bet on them getting a top 3 pick next year, but you never know when it comes to health.

Jeanie Buss obviously hates Jim Buss and the Lakers organization has no chance to succeed until they reconcile. Otherwise, he has to cut her loose. After that, he needs to hire someone to run their organization and step back. If Jim Buss thinks he can run the Lakers in a "hands on" manner, they are doomed.
Pretty sick Kobe compilation right here: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/QZbgoC6MiSM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
While Jeannie may have over-dramatized things a bit in her book, the journalism for this article was just atrocious.
I love the orlando and Chicago ones. Especially the Chicago clip shows why i dislike kobe. He just doesn't pass to the open man for the winning shot, no matter how bad his situation is. Fisher was wide open for the win, and Gasol had a dunk. If only Kobe knew that you can actually pass to you allstar big man.
Too late man. People have praised him over the years for this, and on top of that criticized LeBron for not being this kind of blackhole. That's the worse kind of basketball to the core but the media has sensationalized this and tons of bandwagoneers followed that line of thinking.

Kobe conceded he likely won't be back for the start (obvious) Coaching Staff confirmed Nash minutes will be limited (oldest active player in league) Pau confirms he will likely never be at 100% (best center in league) The Lakers just signed Dan Gadzuric.
