Not according to "little boy" because Sun Yue is taller. Don't you get it? The NBA isn't about performing on the floor, it's about measurements and what could theoretically happen. The truth is, Shawn Bradley was a great rebounder and defender because he was tall for his position. The fact he produced zip on the court at the NBA level doesn't count. Had they played each other, he would have owned Hakeem because 8 inches means everything when you consider rebounding and defense. Having NBA-level talent (or not) has nothing to do with it.
If he is such an amazing Magic Johnson-like PG, then why couldn't he get time over Derek Fisher, Jordan Farmar and Shannon Brown? All 3 of those have very noticeable flaws.
tinman, please do not take the bait and derail the thread. Let's keep Sun Yue the subject. This is fun. V-Span > Sun Yue.
any nba player > Sun Yue I remember watching one of the few games where he actually got on the court in garbage time. Phil rolled him out at the point, then realizing what an awful mistake that was he put in another PG (Farmar, i believe). Then, he couldn't handle the 2 so Phil put in yet another guard. So, he was now at SF, not much responsibility, pretty hard to screw this up. At the next dead ball I realized he was no longer in the game. Remember, this is within the span of about maybe 5 minutes of on court time. And, yes, he was benched in garbage time.
You guys should print this conversation off, and come back to it in 5 years and see how r****ded you look...insulting each other over a hypothetical situation for a basketball team that you have zero influence over. I love clutchfans for dropping by and checking out news...but this crap is ridiculous it really feels like I am reading forums about Brittany Spears Vs Christina Aguilera. Thats it continue in your lil war
megastahr i respect that hell outta u 4 saying that britney and christina haha dats funny man... i love cluthfans rockets is gonna make the playoffs and shut everyone up... watch brooks average 18 ppg....
The important thing right now for the team is bolstering the front court. The team has limited bench space left ( assuming the rookies are signed ) so let the remaining spot go to a front court player. Who it is? I cant say but it is essential to have one more to help Scola and Co.
cmon... the one time i saw him play, he committed 4 fouls and 2 turnovers in 5 minutes of playing time, against the bobcats.. he could not get the ball past half court, and was out muscled on every play. unless he puts on 20 pounds of muscle and hit the gym for an entire summer, he's not NBA material, let alone Rockets material
if he has shaky shooting touch, inconsistent, and has probem protecting the ball, as you have stated, why would he present a match up problem ?
lol, dude calm yo ass down. we are on a fan forum. believe me, Morey will NOT take advice from us and suggesting signing certain players will NOT "blow up" our team. and btw, are you trying to break the record for most post in a day? god damm it, 70% of the thread is filled with your posts
