If Yao was still playing then you would think this is one guy that would know how to play and pass in to Yao but he isnt playing this year or with best hopes and prayer not till the nearing of PO's. I dont understand something though. Did they play on the same team (sharks?) or just the national team?
Sun Yue is the answer! A 6'9 PG is exactly what we need. Sun at 1 and Brooks at the 2. All problems solved. PG - Sun Yue SG - Brooks SF - Battier PF - Scola C - Anderson 6th - Ariza K-Low Flight White C Buddy Truck Hayes
Your basketball analysis is severely lacking. You refer to CBA as a B league? Do you know what a B league is? The CBA is maybe a H level league - at best. NBA = A1 level Euroleague = A2 level Spain, Greece, Italy, Eurocup = B level Russia, Baltic, Adriatic = C level France, Turkey, Euro leagues like that = D level D League = E level Sudoamericana = F level Australia = G level China = H level
PG - Yue 6'8 SG - Ariza 6'8 SF - Battier 6'8 (barring trade) PF - Scola 6'10 C - D. Andersen 7'0 (possible upgrade through Brooks/Lowry/Battier)
He's a better rebounder, distibutor, and defender than Brooks. Brooks can only score what's the point of keeping him when his value is high and he really isn't that effective besides scoring.
Tell me. When was the last time you saw Sun Yue play an active roll in the lineup for the Lakers? Aaron Brooks could turn into the next Chris Paul or Allen Iverson. We would be absolutely idiotic to replace him with the likes of Sun Yue.
I'd rather see Yue than Brooks because he'll rebound and defend and I like having an imposing team defensively and Brooks is tiny to be honest.
Plus if Yue becomes our starting point guard he will become super popular in China and our team will make tons of money (look at what Yao has done for us) from our Chinese fans with Yue and Yao jerseys.
