Lakers will win in seven unless Westbrook blows up.

When it comes to fast breaks, the C position mostly irrelevant. Ibaka runs the floor every bit as hard as Faried on both ends. KD runs more than any SF on the Nuggets roster. Thabo is also an excellent runner (finishing at the rim on breaks is the ONE thing he does well on offense). Plus Harden & WB.

Denver's roster isn't any more conducive to running than OKC. It's a stylistic choice they have to make in order to be successful. This next round, I expect the Thunder to choose to run more than they normally do because it's easy pickings against LA's slow lineup.

    Westbrook - Harden - Durant

    Kobe - Artest - Barnes

Looks like a total mismatch, doesn't it?

If you consider athleticism.... I don't have to remind you which team has more hops

    NO doubt about that.

    Here's my questions.

What is in their hearts? How much guts do they have? We know what kind of guts the Lakers trio has. But OKC has not been able to get to that level yet. Westbrook is like a high-strung tempermental thoroughbred. Everything has to be just right for him to race. If one of the horses disturbs him while they are locking in the starting gate, he's in trouble. That's Westbrook.

What I'm telling you is Westbrook is OKC's achilles heal. He loses it when the heat and pressure is on. He is going to be defended mostly by guys his size or bigger, who are gonna bang and beat around on him the whole live long series. We will see how he responds. Has he "grown" past it? Or does he have a fatal character flaw that takes his all-world athleticism and basketball skill set down to Nick Anderson level?
