"Shannon Brown is the only laker that is above his season average!"

"No he's not, Luke Walton is too..."

    "...yeah, but that doesn't count."

They are young and stupid....don't know who they are yet...it will come.

Young and stupid seem to go together.....especially in basketball, be it actually playing or even posting about it.

    ;)

Eric Gordon with the major meltdown on 3 consecutive possessions. Misses 1/2 FTs and follows that up with 2 two TOs. Yikes. Lakers by 1. I thought the Clips had this one.

I can't believe Gordon didn't know they had a foul to give. They got lucky.

No. Eric Gordon shows he's not ready for prime time yet. Missed FTs, two straight unforced TOs, didn't know he had a foul to give.

Poor Clippers... they played a good game but really screwed it up at the end. :(

clippers are just young and inexperienced right now. but they have a lot of potential.

the lakers, on the other hand, showed their experience. even with kobe, they have guys who are not afraid to take big shots, and make them

That should have been the coach's job to inform. It's not like they didn't come out of a timeout.

Artest played good defense; read Gordon's eyes well.

Primarily, this was the Clippers' game to lose (which they did), but the Lakers showed us why they are so good, and Kobe showed us why they are so clutch.

And not doubling Fisher as he went left? Defensive meltdown. But it wasn't an easy lay-up either.

I know OKC has Durant and Westbrook, but when compared with teams of similar age, they just seem miles ahead.

Blake Griffin, at this point, is a shoo-in for RotY. Regarding the team, someone like Shane Battier (locker room leader, Mr. Intangibles) would be great for the team. They are set at almost every position, starters wise, with Davis, Gordon, Griffin, Kaman, but they lack a solid 3.

It is the last shot of the game, and with Fisher driving linearly towards the out-of-bounds line, and no good passing lanes to another Laker, I would have doubled Fisher.

If Fisher made the pass to another Laker, I think time would have run out.

But again, it's the heat of the moment, and that definitely was a lucky shot.

Sure enough on the foul to give (I've stated my opinion on pathetic Vinny several times), but Gordon blew it for his team. Good for the Lakers to cash in, no doubt, but the story here (IMO) is Gordon's choke job. He KILLED the Clippers.

The Lakers are still slumping, but they have benefited from sorry competition the last 3 games. Friday in Chicago should be good.

Agreed. It sucks when the best player on your team, PPG wise, screws it up.

He made a 3, which was good, but from that point on, he missed a three, committed the two TOs like everyone witnessed, etc. which cost them the game.

Blake Griffin should have rested somewhere between the end of the 3rd and midway through the 4th. He was plain tired, and you could see it. Del Negro should have done it like Jackson rests Kobe. Might have made a difference.
