Yeah! Now we have a championship locked up! This one really puts us over the top, definitely. Another great signing and a show that great players still want to play for the Lakers.

You are unworthy of your name. You should change it.

Wow, definitely surprised he took a 1 year, 1M deal...lol Omri Cassipi got a better deal than him.

I know dude's been a bust, but honestly I'd rather have him for 1 year, 1M than Cassipi LOL. My guess is he took 1M to go play for the Lakers, I'm pretty sure other teams would have ponied up more than 1M for a top 5 pick. I think even Wesley Johnson got a couple mill before he was cut.

BTW does Kahn have the worst drafting record ever? How many busts does he have at a high lottery pick?

I'd take Casspi over him. At least Casspi will knock down couple of shots.

Yeah, but WJ has more room for improvement. We don't really need Cassipi's shooting on the team, not with Reggie Williams, Canaan and Beverly all being dead eye shooters already. I'd take a chance on a 1 year to see if WJ has some potential ala Robinson. If not then move on to the next project.

Dang Lakers picking up every scrub there ever was. They should sign me to a 1 year, I do a killer worm on the sidelines.

He actually fits in to the D'Antoni offense really well.

Wesley Johnson took that deal for the same reason OJ Mayo took $4mil from the Mavs. It's one of those "I show the world I'm worth big money for" type signing. He would've never came to the Rockets because the Rockets can't showcase him for a big contract next year. Teams like the Rockets are great for players willing to fit a certain role, not those who think they can be stars.

Wes Johnson doesn't have the talent or motor to be anything more than a scrub. Wouldn't surprise me if he knows that.

The guy is on the Lakers because he's a leftover crumb they picked up off the floor and were willing to pay a min salary. I think he prefers being on a team with nil expectations where his lack of intensity won't draw attention.

But maybe you're right and Wes Johnson is completely delusional about himself. Wouldn't be the first one.

At least JR Smith pretends to pass once in a while. Nick Young is blackest of black holes.

Him and Wes Johnson together would be like homeless man's version Kobe + Carmelo

Casspi does not have a better deal than Wes really. They're both vet minimum same pay. There's a team option for Casspi on year 2, which means its a 1 year deal until the team decides they want to keep him. Thats the only difference. And really that hurts Casspi more than Wes, cu he can't turn his season into immediate bigger pay

Both played on bad teams. While Casspi has only had 1 good year, Wes Johnson has had NO good years. Also Casspi is still a year YOUNGER. So everything equal, though both arent good Wes is still a bit worse.

Phoenix though they're a mess they still ran a version of that offense, where Wes Johnson last was.

Was same old Wes. Though maybe its a credit to him that he actually stayed the SAME on the Suns, instead of getting way WORSE like every other player there. Thats really the only bit of upside you can make for him. Otherwise, his "top 5 pick" status is more the Hasheem Thabeet designation by now
