I hate to say it, but the NBA championship is going to be going through San Antonio for a LONG time. With Duncan, Parker and possibly Jermaine O'Neal, the Spurs have dynasty written all over them. Then again, the Spurs could screw it all up if they end up getting J Kidd and shipping TP elsewhere.

well, I am just JBII, but I sure hope there is a JB 52 down the road! The Spurs deserve all the credit in the world. If the Lakers weren't so banged up and Fox wasn't injured, things could have been different, but that was the card the Spurs were dealt. In 2001, The Spurs were dealt a bad card when they lost Derek Anderson, and the Lakers took advantage. The Spurs could have won in 2001 if Derek didn't get hurt. Man, I am gonna have to eat some serious crow in a few weeks when the Spurs WIN a title with KEVIN WILLIS on their team. I never would have thought that would happen, but the Spurs are the best team left. Of course, Pop is doing an excellent job not playing Willis a whole lot. He didn't even get off the bench in the first half. With the Rockets, Willis played heavy minutes for a back-up and stunk. But the Spurs have Rose who is an effective NBA player. If the Spurs win the ring, there will be no asterisk.
Yao Ming better hit the gym. Ming being dominant and the Rockets backcourt is going to be the only thing that can slow down the Spurs. Sacramento is about the only other team. You're going to need a frontcourt to hang with those boys and a good backcourt.
