I’m not convinced about Bogut anymore. Sure I wouldn’t mind having him as a last resort, with the most minimal contract we could offer. However, watch the refs start calling his illegal screens as soon as he joins the Rockets. At the very least we have to explore our options during the trade deadline.
I like the idea. but face it, if Bogut were to play against the Warriors in a playoff series he would foul out in about 5 minutes as he would be called constantly for moving screen i.e blocks and maybe even soon thrown out of the entire series for excessive technical while fouling. Bogut could be quite helpful in getting to the Warrior series, but would probably be receive the same treatment w. Pops and the Spurs unless polling show potential higher ratings for Rockets-Warriors than Spurs-Warriors

He can still play. But I think Morey is going to hold out for trade deadline because roster flexibility is more valuable than a 3rd/4th string big who will get a handful of minutes a game

Ryno is a better basketball player than Zhou Qi & DMo. No NBA team would take any of those 2 over Ryno
I’d take them because they would get paid significantly less. Also it would be significantly easier to trade Qi than Ryno.
