i hope karl malone keeps playing like this. it would seem to be a pretty empty championship for him if he has the really bad shooting nights.

He'd probably be praised for doing all the intagibles, and how a scoring PF hall of famer took less money to try and win a championship and "settled" into a role players role of doing all the dirty work and all the intagibles etc etc

The guy can't lose, if they win a championship, there will be nothing bad to say about Malone. The majority in the media will be "he deserves it".
I really wouldn't care if he was dirty, as I didn't care about Oakley's dirty play when we aquired him, if he were more like Oakley. In that after commiting a dirty foul, he'd just take the foul call, afterall it's what he meant to do, foul a player. And not be like, "what? a foul?!? YOU'RE CRAZY!! I wasn't near him! OMG! THE INJUSTICE!! God! I can't believe it. A foul on me?? oMG".
And then get pissed off when he gets thrown down on the floor in return. That's just like the cowardice of a thief and a punk. Do it all they want, while no one's looking or no one's there to do anything about it, but cry when they get caught and get knocked on their @ss.

I certaintly hope the Lakers take the Pistons lightly until they're down 3-2. Can't ask them to be asleep throughout, as it's very unlikely.

But, Pistons up 3-2 would give them atleast two tries against an awoke giant to try and barely close it out and give Malone a big "screw you! NO RING FOR YOU!".

looks like the lakers lack of energy is killing them. i love it! those lazy bastards. detroit is hitting open shots but LA just looks dead. crowd is dead too.

Anybody else wondering right now how our season would've gone with Larry Brown as our coach?

They took everything for granted, they are arrogant and stupid.

I don't like that kind of Champs.

Or if we had drafted Prince? OK, that's a bit of a stretch.
