That Kobe shot ripped the Pistons' collective nads off. They look scared as hell. The Lakers look confident. Worst case scenario for the Pistons.

The refs wont have to balls to foul out shakobe, at least not unitl there is .01 seconds left.

 

i thought the pistons logo was a horse and not a deer because right now they're standing around getting ready to get ran over. pathetic....this is one of those meltdowns that just makes me go nuts.

 

Down by 6, Pistons probably will lose this game.

The team has to collectively step up. They Lakers are just pressing hard on D. Makes them feel at ease on offense.

 

How many times do they have to play that stupid lets get it started crap. It has been started for 3 freakin hours now!

 

i can root for shaq. he's a great guy and for someone as big as him, he's not arrogant and he doesn't cry and complain to the refs. it's the rest of the lakers i can't stand. especially malone and kobe. F*************CK!!!!!!!!!!!!! the pistons blew this one.

 

i'm sorry but the pistons are playing like the regular season rockets right now...and that's not a good thing. wide open drives for kobe? jacking up 3s with 20 secs left on the shot clock? looking like a lost kid looking for his mother out there? my goodness....what the hell happened??!!

as for shaq not being arrogant...did you just START watching basketball?

 

The funny thing is... this might hurt them MORE in the long-run, than if the Lakers had simply won in a wire-to-wire blowout.

This is the type of game that will demoralize you, but you don't have any time to recover, and you have no easy teams on the schedule.

Detroit just lost their best shot at the title right there.

 

ok, he's a bit arrogant. but it's not annoying. at least not to me.

 

So can we quit all the whining and moaning about having JVG instead of Larry Brown? I believe JVG was absolutely ripped for not fouling when up by 3. Looks like Brown also over-estimated his team's D.

 

But I still give them 50-50, other than Kobe and Shaq, Lakers don't have good role players and solid bench as Pistons. If Pistons can hold on their homecourt and extend the series, they still have great chance.

Next game is important.

 

Were all coaches and players drugged before they play lakers? Why do they make the mental mistakes again and again and again?
