I"m not sure that will happen. He was a champ at UConn (made the game winner). He's got the mindset to win. But he's just seem to be playing at a lower intensity than Kobe. We'll see if he steps it up in the 3rd.
Exactly. He knows how to get the most out of his role players, not just his stars. He knows how to make the role players think they are "great." That's until they are traded.
Can we change the NBA rulebook so that after getting a stop, the Pistons are allowed to call a timeout and have the Kings come in to run the offense? Or maybe the Mavs, or, really, anybody who can make a layup or a 10-footer. Anybody.
The Pistons's guards combo has some similarity with the Rox's guards. Just a stupid fancy behind back pass from Bullips, and then a traval from Rip Hamilton, two turnovers in a row. Larry Brown must be pissed. That's the inexperience of those guards, Lakers are no playing too well right now, but if you keep getting them chance, they will take it for sure.
The Pistons offer a weird contrast with the Rockets. They somehow execute beautifully, but miss easy shots and free throws. The Rockets, however, make it as hard as possible... hit circus shots... and make their free throws. Any way we can mix the two?
This game reminds me of Game 4 of the Lakers-Rockets series, in that Al and Doc have a serious man-crush on Karl Malone.
btw... Okur is awful. Mo-T showed more court presence on both ends of the court than he has. Gimme a guy who actually WANTS the ball, and craves it... not one guy who's out there just trying not to screw up... yet does it anyways.
i think zan tabak SITTING ON THE BENCH played better than okur has...my goodness...if Okur's any more stiff...rigormortis is going to set in.
Exactly, I just don't know why somebody is so fond of him. Is him any better than Mo Taylor? Except he can shoot 3 occasionally, Okur is also a weak rebounder, weak defender. On offense end, Mo Taylor has the same range as his, far better post move than his. After this season, Okur will demand the same amount of money as Mo. It is ridiculous.
I have to admit it, Shaq is old. In a game with only one day break, he is a different player, he is still good, but not dominate like the first game. Especially in the fourth QT, he can hardly move right now.
the annoucners make the pistons look like nothing, all they do is drull over the lakers, that is a discrace to the pistons.
