Dr. Buss was a Basketball Icon. One of the best owners around. Dr. Buss was who Mark Cuban thinks he is. RIP
RIP Dr. Buss. Though I do wonder how much peace there is in Laker land nowadays, in the locker room or the board room.
Rest in peace, Dr. Buss. And with that the Lakers fate is sealed. Unfortunately for Laker fans, Jim is not Jerry and never will be.
It's sad - I have many friends out here that love the Lakers and Jerry Buss. They are really bummed about his passing.
I'm far from being a Laker fan, but Dr. Buss was one of the better owners the NBA's seen. The league is a better place because of him. RIP.
the league or the Lakers won't be the same without him. I see his dynasty crumbling. his children don't talk to each other about business and are far from being on the same page. In this day and age a group of investors will likely convince the family to sell... Rest in Peace to a great sports owner
these rich old guys need to ask Hugh Hefner what's he's takin ... wonder how the world would react once he goes but seems like he mite live forever (age 86....)
he even says that it's due to being around young beautiful women 24/7. Whose body would want to give up if that was your life?
RIP, it may say Jerry was killed by cancer, but I believe it was this season's performance by the Lakers that really did him in.
