I agree with haven, but Portland can still beat LA. Shaq just can't be counted on as a go-to guy in the clutch right now. He's no Duncan!
TheFreak: would you rather have Duncan or Shaq for one year? Despite Shaq's problem with free throws, I'd still rather have Shaq. He seems to have a better offensive game, and his size allows him to board more. He's also, right now, more of a presence in the lane. I'd rather see us play Portland because we played great against Portland in every game last year. The games that we played against Portland the results were: we won by 1 we won by 13 they won by 3 and they won by 10. So I like our chances. I also think we can upset the Lakers. Everyone has to step their game up for us to advance pass the first round and beyond. Remember along with Toronto we were the only team to beat the Lakers and Blazers on the road. ------------------
The key to beating the Lakers is to bounce the ball off of Shaq's head. This will cause him to take a clumsy punch at which point you can tackle him and start pounding his face into hamburger.
