Yeah and they just signed Wagner. Means they can’t trade him for 30 days. Chatter also coming out that they might offer Aaron Gordon, like Capela, something.
how many days does houston have to match if they give an offer? I herd its two days after July 6th is that true
The team is capped out and they have a small window for a championship. You resign Capela no matter what since a sign and trade essentially hard caps the team. If he walks the front line is one of the worst in the league.
I do believe the reports that lebron and his family dont like houston but I also think perhaps dan gilbert didnt want to facilitate an opt in plus trade. Why would he want to pay heavy luxury tax for a team that won’t even make the playoffs next year?
Woj reported that conversations about a trade were never discussed with the Cavs. We just weren’t a consideration
Yeah this is why I asked about a SnT earlier. Capela full bird rights.....but does Julius Randle have an early bird rights? Could both teams benefit from SnT? Allowing both teams to venture over the luxury tax? Get Randle in return with possibly more? Hope Capela is still an option here.....but I read Capela was meeting with both Lakers then Houston. I’m worried Capela was told it was too steep a deal. I would like the open money slot to try to get an Amir Johnson, Lauvergne, Nogueira, JaVale McGee, Nerlens Noel. If possible.
The only way Capela isn’t a Rocket is if the team opts to not match whatever offer he signs in free agency.
