Very well said. Exactly how I feel. The Lakers and their fans think they are bigger than the league. I love seeing them having their butts kicked right now. And I love hearing them whine about the officiating. Hahahaha, there IS such as thing called justice in the basketball universe.

Actually, it seems that when the Lakers lose it's because they didn't play well or try hard or was because they lost not because of what the other teams do or because they have injuries. I hate that with a passion. The other team never gets credit, it's always the Lakers fault for losing rather than the other team being better than them. It's not over yet but I am so happy that Karla won't be getting a ring. Peace.

Although I doubt that's what players love ... DAMN. Is this true? Two of my favorite foods.

Pistons are going to wrap it up this evening. Turn out the lights, the party's over.

Final 20 seconds of 3rd quarter, do-or-die game. Lakers go in to Shaq. He's fouled, misses both. Pistons rebound and go coast to coast for a layup uncontested. No Laker even steps into Prince's path. Lakers get the ball back with 5 seconds and are so empty they don't even get a shot off.

This is a team completely demoralized, humiliated, lost. They're out of answers and ideas, and now they've lost the will even to compete, much less to win.

25 points down now. A Pistons shot bounces off the rim to 20 feet away, and the Lakers just stand there while Ben Wallace runs 15 feet to get it.

This is not a defeat. This is total physical, mental, and moral destruction. The Lakers are practically pleading to be put out of their misery.

I'm enjoying every minute of this.

We're supposed to be gracious in victory, but since the Rockets didn't win anything, I guess it's allright to have a little attitude.... ;)

Vwiggin, the Fakers have just been HUMILIATED on national TV. Time to man-up and make your thread which, if I remember correctly, was to be titled "LAKERS ARE LOSERS AND SO AM I".

Personally, I don't want you to say anything about yourself, as you're probably a decent enough guy and I have no problems with you. HOWEVER, as I loathe your team, I would like you to post saying: "The Lakers are the most over-rated, over-hyped, coddled, and spoiled francise in the NBA, and neither deserve any of the titles they've won, nor deserve to win any in the future".

Time to sac up and pay my debt to society. :) I've counted two guys who took me up on my bet (if I missed anyone, please let me know):

    droxford
    Dave2000
    Max14

OK guys, tell me what I should say on my thread.

TheFreak - Yup it's true. I never saw any Lakers around these restaurants, but I did run into Elton Brand a couple of times chowing down on corn bread and creole oyster sandwiches.

I would, but did you bet me? :) I'll give you a freebie, I think Lakers are definitely over-hyped. The media loves a good story, and you never run out of stories with Shaq and Kobe around.

Lakers definitely did not deserve to win THIS season. Getting outplayed is ok. But getting out-hussled is NOT acceptable!

I am very sad to see the Lakers lose. But as a basketfall fan I am happy to see a great TEAM beat a team with great players. Detroit, hats off to you! Let's hope Detroit's victory inspire the next generation of basketball players to aspire to be team players instead of the Kobesque dribble-down-the-clock-split-the-defender-miracle-double-clutch shot.

    Vwiggin,

As much as I hate the Lakers, I definitely give you props for owning up to losing the bet.

    Vwiggin,

In the "LAKERS ARE LOSERS THREAD"...

I command you to post the following:

I wear a diaper and I like to poo poo in it. It feels warm and squishy. Other people hear the plastic swish in my pants and ask about it. I tell them that I have an overactive colon.

but the truth is... I like to poop my pants. 'sfun

Lol chill, you posted at 1:30 in the morning. He's likely on west coast time, so it isn't even 8:00 there yet. If he started a thread, he's going to get your message.
