I'm in Laker land. My coworkers respect the Rockets as a good team, especially after the last whooping they put on em (which I was sure to rub in good). I think they also realize how having a super duo of Yao & Tmac like Kobe & Shaq can lead to success.

Everything that's been mentioned here is pretty much spot on. They themselves know they had a good home schedule early on. Its still the Kobe show in the 4th quarters, him jacking & others standing - sometimes thats good sometimes it isnt. And they don't have the consistent night-in/night-out effort. When they do though they're a very tough team. And you can't count against Phil Jackson in the playoffs.

    LOL @ Lakers fans..

this guy is pretty surprising because Lakers fans are usually cry babies! I reallly hate the team, the fans, the coach, the organization, and the city of LA itself :D

BONZI ISNT EVEN CLOSE TO ODOM. Odom is a superstar in his own right. If he is given reigns to the team, they would be SO MUCH BETTER. Odom has unbelievable handles and could easily be the Laker's starting PG. He is a very very good player. He is TMac without the Clutch and not as good of a shot. But he is around 75% of the player TMac is which is very good.

That isn't possible. The Jazz or the Nuggets will be the 4 seed. I don't know which one, but one of them has to be because of division format.

Bonzi isn't close to Odom = TRUE. Odom is a superstar = FALSE. Odom has great handles and great talent = TRUE. When LO's brain catches up to his skills, he will be a star. Otherwise, he will remain nothing more than a great sidekick.
