Childish........ They wanted it to be as big as when cavs lost lebron

But Howard owed LA NOTHING( being there 1yr, from a trade)...............They are stupid and should be embarrassed(if not, that's even more embarrassing)

Cant compare to scola or nattier tributes. Need to compare with disgruntled star. Even then, no one ever burned a tmac jersey. Or a pippen pijama jersey either.

They step on his throat and criticize him all year long, yet when he leaves they're surprised!

They're burning the LA jersey now so that one day they'll replace it with the Houston one. :)

Howard was there for a year..he kinda sucked and has a rep of whining and not playing hard..he just wanted to have fun and that would rub us the wrong way too if he was on our team. A good analogy would be pippen. Only here for a season and all he dod was suck, complain and then blame everyone else. Would i burn a pippen jersey? You bet ya. Fck that loser

I'm from Southern California and there is a plethora of douchebags there. Kind of like NY but at least NY doesn't shy away from showing it

As much as I hate Royce White, Rockets fans were very disgusting towards him. Make fun of his laziness? Sure. That's fine. But so many of them tweeted him "you're a pathetic scum bad you should die you mental freak", poking fun at his mental illness. This is much worse than what Lakers fans have done to Howard, we shouldn't act like we're a much classier fanbase lol

What I don't understand is that the entire season, they blamed Dwight for all the trouble. They never blamed Steve Nash who was injury plagued. They never blamed Kobe because god forbid Kobe to do anything wrong. They only blamed Dwight and D'antoni.

The biggest positive for me that comes out of this is that Lakers fans need to realize that they are not entitled to championships and that they don't have a guaranteed spot in the playoffs. THEY ACTUALLY NEED TO WORK FOR IT.

One of my friends who grew up in LA said," I'm not worried about where Dwight signs. We'll get him. We're the Lakers. It always works out for us."

Another said," It doesn't matter where Dwight signs. We're going to get Lebron when he becames a free agent."

Ha The lakers are the last place Lebron signs if you ask me but this sense of entitlement is just the worst

I'm surprised they were smart enough to take the jerseys off before burning em.
