Not impossible to catch them. We are 4 1/2 games behind Utah, but the Jazz's remaining schedule is tougher than the Rockets'.

They have two 4-road game trips. Some of the difficult games for Utah include: @Miami, @Cleveland, @San Antonio, @Houston, @Dallas, Phoenix, Houston.

On the other hand, the remaining tough games for the Rockets are: @Phoenix, (@Toronto), (Detroit), (@New Orleans), Utah, Phoenix, @Utah. The games that are in enclosed in ()s are listed as tough ones only because the Rockets lost to those teams earlier in the season, not necessarily because I really believe they are better than us.

Home court advantage is definitely important in the 1st round of playoffs if we are to face Utah, which has the 3rd best home record in the league thus far. We split the first two games with them -- each team won at home. So go figure.

We are 5 losses behind them now. It's not impossible, but very unlikely. The key was when the Jazz kept winning without Boozer. That showed a lot about them.

If home court makes a big difference in the series, we are in serious trouble and will probably be a first round loser. IMO, if the Rockets are playing with chemistry and Yao & Tracy are both in good form, we will beat them.

It would be absolutely hilarious if the Lakers fell to the 8 seed.

No one Dallas like Kobe does.

I mean he absolutely OWNS them.

I wouldn't be surprised if he went off for 45 to 50 numerous times in the series, they have always been Kobe's little b****.

Dirk is like Kobe's prison b****.

Man that would be so great seeing Kobe destroy the Mavs in round one.

Might be likely Lakers fall to the 8th seed. With that elbow last night, Kobe should be hit with a 2-3 game suspension. That's 3 more L's and they're only 3 games ahead of the Clippers.

Neither the Jazz or Spurs are as bad for us as opening at Phx or Dallas, who have better starting 5s and can play more uptempo and use their athleticism. Don't let SAs recent play fool you, they are not as complete as Dallas.

The Jazz and Spurs are both excellent teams of course. But if we can't beat them we are not contenders.

We just got to get our team as healthy, fresh and integrated as possible. If that happens we match up well versus the Spurs or Jazz.
