    This is bad for those of us who don't like the Lakers. It is more likely Mitch Kupchak concludes this team needs a jolt of some sort and makes a trade that improves their roster or chemistry. I actually liked it when the Lakers won in Boston because it would help give them a false sense of security.

    I sure hope they don't make any moves before the deadline. Been saying since late December the Lakers were broken and probably needed some changes in order to win another championship.

    Kobe is not and has never been a consistently high performer on the defensive end. The fact that he's made so many all-defensive teams is such a joke as to make the honor almost worthless.

    Soooo embarrassing. But yeah, the Lakers definitely need a trade of some sort. If I were Kirk Hinrich or Gerald Wallace I'd have my bags already packed.

    The Lakers are just cruising through the regular season. There is no reason to doubt that they are capable of turning it on when it counts.

    I have no doubt about it. The guy is the most overrated defender in history. He's living on the one time he locked down AI for a half (which isn't all that hard considering AI regularly shot about 40%).

    if the lakeshow loses dstern will force a trade.
