It has become quite fashionable to bash the East finals as being "unwatchable"

    but...

Any objective fan who has watched all 7 conference finals games so far and who does not say the best three games have been in the ECF, they must be Lakers or T-Wolves fans.

I have watched some boring conference finals basketball in the past week, the western conference finals bores me to death, no game has been close, it is obvious who is going to win that series.

    oops... not finished...

Every game of ther ECF has gone down to the last minute, the ending of game #2 was as thrilling an ending as you will ever see.

Not fun for pacers fans, but even I can admit that was an exciting finish.

    Ugh...

ya know... It's not that want the Lakers to lose (which I do).... I'm really, REALLY sick of hearing the whole world worship Kobe Bryant...

But the worst thing of it all is knowing that Karl Malone is probably gonna get a ring.

That just makes me sick to my stomach. I mean, really nauseated.

If I were Saunders and Minny fans I'd be really dissappointed in my teams effort in LA. I understand sometimes Shaq is impossible to cover and Kobe can hit big shots even versus good defense--but LA primarily won game 3 and game 4 because of effort for than anything. The old guys in LA have out hustled Minn to rebounds, loose balls, and have caused more TOs (many stupid unforced TOs by Minny)--and with LA already having the superior half court personelle you can't beat them if they get more chances than you.

If LA beats you when Shaq is hitting FTs and Kobe hits those buzzer beaters all you can do is tip your hat to those players and can take pride in what you did Win or Loss. But the whole Wolves teams needs an ass thrashing by coaches and fans, the one way a Lakers opponents should never lose to them is through lack of effort and hustle--deep in the the playoffs no less.

In sum, the Wolves look more like beaten Collies than determined until the end Pit Bulls--inexcusable in the WCF. Don't know if the results with Detriot or Indy will be much different--but I expect the effort will be.

the Wolves is PG-less. They might have a chance if either Sam
    or Hudson were healthy.

I completely agree - Minn is a younger team and is being out-hustled by the Lakers. Minn also just doesn't do any defensive stops. So far, if the Lakers take 6 point lead in the first quarter, you might as well turn off the game, 'cause the TWolves just don't have the defense to get over the hump, and you just can't beat the Lakers by out-scoring them.

Sickening. Ya know, I think the team that came closest to knocking off the Lakers was the Rockets. Spurs took 'em to six games compared to our five, but we had game winning shots in our hands in games 1 and 3 that we just couldn't get to fall. that woulda put us up 3 games to 1, which we probably could have turned into a winning series.

I'd post a poll about that ("which team has come closest to beating Lakers?") but there's so many end-of-season and out-of-school threads right now, the bbs is already too cluttered.

    Ugh.

Are you serious or you just simply forgot it was Lakers instead of Minny leading 3-1 before the game.

yeah the lakers are still up 3-2 in the series but its not over just yet. the wolves of course have a tough task in beating the lakers at home where they are undefeated this post season, but the wolves once again will be playing out of desperation which will work to their favor and hopefully cassell can come off their bench and give them a few efficient minutes after he rested over the weekend. game 6 looks like its gonna be a good one

Even though the final score was only a 2-point game, Lakers were in worse shape than what appeared.

Fakers had numerous chance to tidy up, but Shaq simply didn't care; Malone was getting desperate...

    Yes, I had a dream.

I wish it would come true, but its impossible to beat the Fakers 2 games in a row which is what Minny must do to finish the FAKERS

The Pacers are our last great to stop that f%^king c&cks&cker Malone from getting his filthy ring. OH GOD!!!:( :( :( :( (CRYING)

I am surprised by T-wolves's unwillingness to just rollover and finish the season. I guess KG has grown to true MVP type players who can impact the game. T-wolves showed much more heart than for totally overrated Sp*rs!
