Shaq and Kobe can just play forever. Few have their toughness. Actually, so does Karl Malone. Dude is 40 years old, banged up with league MVPs the whole playoffs, didn't he played the whole game tonight ? amazing. He deserved this ring I guess.
And with that I don't think Yao can get a ring any time soon. He seriously needs to toughen up. We need more tough guys. (preferrablely also with better bball IQ)
did kobe shoot that 2nd free throw that he banked in with his eyes closed??...what an arrogant, jordan-wannabe, sonofab*tch...
THis sux... and mad props to the wolves for getting so far... esp when everyone doubted them... If only Sam I am was 100%, or his backup.... I HATE YOU MALONE.....
If the Lakers do win the title I'll take satisfaction in something and that something is that Malone and Payton had to piggie back on the shoulders of an already well-built Laker team. Payton couldn't do it when he had one of, if not the best power forwards of the day in Kemp and Malone couldn't do it with one of the top point guards of all-time. ****ing punk @$$ sissies.
You guys are acting like whoever comes out of the East doesn't have a chance against the Lakers. This could be the year that the East comes back. Oh, who am I kidding?
In the 4th quarter of last night's game, referee Ed Rush asked the scorekeeper how many fouls Shaq had. Brent Musburger, covering the game for radio, reported it right when it happened. Basically, what we all suspected has been confirmed: NBA officials give stars preferential treatment. Can't believe someone hasn't started a thread yet on this topic.
