Lafrentz and NVE to Mavs.. report by David Aldridge

I think for Tim Hardaway, J Howard and some other scrubs to Denver.

The Dallas players involved I am not sure about, but none of them are impact players anyways.

Dallas will kick some asz with Lafrentz in the middle.
Nick probably will still not be happy because Nash is legit. But Playoffs wil be fun.

Van Exel, Lafrentz, Abdul-Wahad, Avery Johnson to Dallas

Juwan Howard, Tim Hardaway, Donnell Harvey, 02 1st rounder, 1 mill to Denver

The Mavs now have some serious depth, probably will use
    Lafrentz
    Nowitzki
    Finley
    Van Exel
    Nash
for the stretch run, with some depth in Shawn Bradley, Evan Eschmeyer, Najera, Avery Johnson, Greg Buckner, and Abdul-Wahad

Denver got out from under 3 long term contracts and a would be major free agent.

For Denver-why? That's now like 28 mill in power forwards between McDyess and Howard, and neither can really play SF or C.

Hardaway/Johnson is a lateral move, IMO. Harvey is a nice player too, but again a PF, and Howard and McDyess both have multi-years left. That pick is going to be 25 or worse.

McDyess can't be happy. The Nuggets just traded Van Exel and Lafrentz, and the only two long term players they received (Howard/Harvey) will either force him to center, or take his minutes.
