Good luck. At my 4 years at Purdue (a long time ago), the Rockets NEVER came up. You should adopt the Pacers or Bulls as your secondary team.
Where exactly is Lafayette Indiana? I am assuming it's not close to me because I haven't heard of it (and since it's not far from jsmee!) Hope you have a good time!
Say what?! You went to U.K. and haven't heard of Lafayette? Have you heard of Bloomington, IN? I suppose you haven't heard of Columbus, OH either. What about Ann Arbor, MI? I guess you didn't need to know any geography at Kentucky, huh?
Guess I shoulda said West Lafayette area. Evidently when you're within 150 miles of Columbus, Buckeyeism rubs off on you.
I could probably get around Illinois, Michigan or Ohio much easier than Indiana. I will be honest.. in Indiana I either stop in Indianapolis or just keep on going up to Chicago. The only other place in Indiana I know is Evansville. And I don't care about where a team is from when we beat them. I probably would have known Purdue was there if I had heard West Lafayette to be honest, but it didn't click when I saw Lafayette.
I have a hard time believing I didn't use West Lafayette myself. I will be visiting a cousin in the Cincy area. However it will be a day trip with other family members. We'll probably do the same thing next year. Maybe we could get together then.

I've lived in Lafayette for the last few years, actually. But I'm a Bulls fan. Unless you guys sign Shaun Livingston for the full MLE.
