Wait, how does someone pretend they are someone else when the thing is being watched by millions? Does she even look like this girl?

Didn't the halftime show felt like something out of Mad Max thunderdome?? It had that vibe, which is probably why I liked it, LOL...

The greatest thing about this is watching a bunch of dudes sit around and argue about Lady Gaga.

I was hoping they'd bring out pregnant Beyoncé.

It did look weird when she was allegedly singing on the roof, and then jumped forward to allegedly jump d down, but the camera did NOT follow her, it stayed fixed where she had been before she jumped. That to me was a dead giveaway that she did not actually 'jump' down during the performance.

It looked like that first song was pre-recorded, as were all the drones (and yes I knew they were the Intel drones immediately because I have seen many of their Youtube videos doing the same things), and as she 'jumped' down, then the camera angle shifts to show her being gently lowered from wherever she actually was to start the show.

And then the weird outfit she was wearing at first, I thought it was terrible, but then I realized that it was actually not bad as a 'skimpy' outfit that was actually hiding a complete suspension safety harness underneath it. But it really was terrible looking.

The res of the show was pretty good, except the singing left a little to be desired, as she spent so much time in a very low register for some reason.

My favorite part was all of the synchronized hand-held lights the groups around the stage were using. THAT was some impressive design work right there.

If she was 'gently lowered' from more than 20 feet, she's got more guts than I do. Remember Owen Hart?

I'm old and I thought the show was pretty good. I don't know her music, but the show was colorful and interesting to watch.

I will say this. Gaga is not afraid of heights. Being lowered from the roof would freak some people out. I know some people like that kind of thing, but it's not for everyone.

Raw mic feed from the full performance below. Sounds like 99% was sung live, including the intro on the roof.

Again, it's not like I'm a Lady Gaga fan or anything, but respect where respect is due.

For the next SB I recommend the Foo Fighters - everyone would dig it.

Just give Led Zeppelin a boatload of money to reunite again one night only for the Super Bowl.

It's been offered and turned down (not for the Super Bowl...just to go on tour). From what I've heard, it's all Plant. He's said he's done playing old music. Same with Pink Floyd. They were offered $500 million after their last performance and they said no. But they said no because they just f***ing hate each other.

Since David Gilmour plays Pink Floyd whenever he performs, that's good enough if you can catch him (albeit it may be the newer Pink Floyd material mostly and a lot of his original albums' material). I wonder how close he is to hanging it up? Hell...Clapton was worrying about how he was going play and record his last album. I think he's losing his ability. Surely, Gilmour doesn't have a lot of time left but his approach to playing and touring is unique. And, he keeps his dates to a minimum...which is the downside if you want to see him as fan (get on a plane).

But, Led Zeppelin...your best bet is Jason Bonham's band which I think plays some Zep tunes (or maybe all Zep tunes). I'm thankful I at least got to see Robert Plant-Jimmy Page tour albeit it was not traditional Zep tunes like they did when they reunited with Bonham for O2 or whatever.

Old rock is almost gone unfortunately. Albeit, the music lives on forever.

Unfortunately, I have to turn to recordings to watch my old fave bands these days. Bummer.

I could see one of them reuniting maybe for charity again. But, PF already did. And, Zep probably wouldn't at this point. The biggest loser out of Zep imo is Jimmy Page. He wanted the reunion badly...to the point of auditioning singers to replace Plant. For whatever reason, it never materialized.

I love Gilmour, but if I had to choose which "Pink Floyd" tour to see, it would be Roger Waters because I much prefer his frantic-screaming vocal style.

Waters is coming to the US this summer including Houston on 7/6, but I'll be out of town for a wedding that week.... I can't imagine my wife would want to go anyway as she's more of a Lionel Richie kind of gal.

Speaking of, Lionel Richie would be an awesome Superbowl halftime show.
