No, I based that on my own experiences with my own daughter and her own outbursts, and yes, 'entitlement' was a major ingredient to her 'freakouts', and for the record, no neither I nor my daughter are black, and the word 'entitlement' has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the displayed behavior. I assume that is what you were implying.
not what i was implying at all. lost in translation. my edit was a mistake in bringing the black from d&d into the hangout (something that i'm not a big fan of). "not nice" had nothing to do with your post, nero. more of having to do with my forum crosstalk shenanigans. we agree on the entitlement issue.
I wonder why hard core religious nuts sign up for evolution classes. They got to know what they're getting into. During college, I had a religious class taught by a Rabi. It dealt with Judo-Christianity development, i.e. how Christianity came about from other religions, pagan influences, early secs... etc; not the "god created the world in 6 days" thing. About a week in, a contentious student just stormed out of class during mid-lecture. He just didn't want to hear it.
Sounds like an interesting class. On the same note, I don't know why yokel religious nuts even go to college. It's a great time to learn and by definition open your mind to new things.
Closed-minded people will be closed-minded. Not much you can do about them, unless you can slip something in their drink (or brownie) to "open their mind" a little. What I think is funny that evolutionists encourage creationists to be open-minded and consider evolution; but many evolutionists are just as closed-minded when it comes to creationism. Pot, Kettle, Black.
Please, stereotype Gods, please... don't... make... me... do... this... and... arrrghhh... I can't... help it... black??? That's what SHE said!
Most evolutionist I know who are Christians are content with leaving faith to the church, and science to the schools. They either don't take the Bible litterally or view it as different prospectives on the same thing. But they have a good understanding that one should not be studied with the same approach as the other. I rarely see the same sense of respect with creationist.
I can't believe that scared white dude just sat there and took a slap in the face like that. I would have knocked her ass out cold with a straight right, left hook and uppercut combo!
This is true! From my experience they're also "closed-minded" to discussing theories such as Santa visiting every child on Christmas or tooth fairy compensating children for losing baby teeth! If only they would just open their eyes instead of using this "common sense" of theirs or always going on about "evidence"...
This appears to be a symptom of mental illness, to me. When she accuses that girl of copying all the answers to the test, I'm pretty sure that is total delusion.
Did you see how insane she was going? he did the right thing by not reacting to her taunts and her overall mental ****storm. She got tossed out soon after anyway so but still.. yeah i woulda been like wtf this B!t%h think she doin lol
I cant understand the words that are coming out of her mouth! I can hear 'kill you' and something about white people and calling a black girl not black, and youtube. Other than that, she needs to take a communications class.
