If I were to try and fight every man that hit on my wife then I would be in jail every other day. Now if it were my friend then I would definatly confront him.
lol. those look like puppydog eyes to you? to me, they are more like ... you bast--d, you crying now? too late!
Kobe should be lucky he didnt marry Kris Benson's wife, or Rudy T would be hunting mexican girls too.
Guys hit on my wife all the time. What I do is be secure in my marriage. You'd have to do one of to things to get me involved - physically push yourself on her or be obvious and disrespectful about it in my presence Kobe's an insecure, incredibly immature kid. It shows, plain as day. Vanessa is no dainty little victim here either. Karl didn't grab her. He responded to what seemed like flirting on her end. Maybe she was joking and he joked back, but misunderstandings took place. None of us know. But no doubt at all, Kobe overreacted like the b*tch he always proves himself to be. For the record, we can add Karl to Kobe's snitch list. Did everyone see that he was telling Malone's wife that Karl messes around while on the road? What a prick. Stiches for Snitches! Evan
I agree. If Kobe is going to live the swinging lifestyle, he needs to not be selfish and share the love.
Oh, there's a baby in that picture? I guess you have to look reeeeeeeeal hard, 'cause is that pic all I see is Latina hotness. Damn she fine.
or if he had married doug christie's wife he wouldn't be supporting half a dozen lawyers and their families.
So if you are not around, guys can flirt with your wife or vice versa all they want? That's just wonderful. I said you guys jump to conclusion and you did that again. You easily dismissed the incident claiming they were joking around and misunderstanding. You also claimed Karl did not grab her. In your own words: None of us know. Karl and Vanessa do. If Vanessa was your wife and she said something, do you believe her?
http://www.pe.com/sports/basketball/lakers/stories/PE_Sports_Local_karl_kobe_15.57cb3.html Malone associate rebuts accusation LAKERS: A witness says Bryant's wife was flirting and that Bryant's reaction "stunned" Malone. 12:27 AM PST on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 By BRODERICK TURNER / The Press-Enterprise SEATTLE - An eyewitness to the exchange between Kobe Bryant's wife and Karl Malone that led to a feud and ended a friendship between the two Lakers said that Malone never made a pass at Vanessa Bryant and that she was "flirting" with Malone. Lloyd Sapiga, a personal trainer and bodyguard for Malone for 10 years, spoke out in a phone interview Tuesday because he said Bryant has tried to "tear down Karl's reputation." Bryant accused Malone of making a pass at his wife. "Karl did not make a pass at her," Sapiga said. "He would not be stupid to do something like that. ... He's a better man than that. Karl is the best power forward to ever play the game, but he's 100 times better as a person than as a player. "That personal attack Kobe made against Karl is ridiculous. I feel like I have to say something because Kobe is out there parading around and saying that Karl was making passes at his wife. That's ridiculous. Karl would never do such a thing." Bryant did not want to address the subject further on Tuesday. "I'm done talking about it," Bryant said. "I've said what I've had to say on the matter, and I'm just moving on." Malone, who has not played this season because of a knee injury, attended a Laker game Nov. 23 against Milwaukee at Staples Center. His son, Karl Jr., and Sapiga were with him. "Vanessa is the one who greeted Karl with a hug," Sapiga said. "She was so excited when she saw him. She looked like a little kid in a candy store. There were people from the Lakers organization that saw her reaction. She was excited. She was elated. "She was flirting with Karl. She was all happy, giggly, smiling, laughing." At halftime, at Vanessa's request, Malone took his son to sit with her. After the game, Malone, who was wearing a cowboy hat and boots, went to get his son. Sapiga's version of the ensuing conversation is consistent with what Bryant has said publicly. "'Hey, cowboy, what are you hunting?'" Sapiga, who said he was there and heard the conversation, said Vanessa asked Malone. "Karl kind of responded accordingly and jokingly, 'I'm hunting little Mexican girls.' There was nothing there after that." Sapiga said he and Malone hugged Vanessa while her bodyguard stood and watched. While Malone was driving home to Newport Beach, Bryant called him, ranting and accusing Malone of making a pass at Vanessa. "He threatened Karl," Sapiga said. "... I could hear Kobe yelling and screaming. Karl was like, 'Kobe, if I offended your wife in any way, I apologize.' Kobe continued to say he was going to kick Karl's (butt). He was going to kill him. Karl was totally shocked by what happened." Bryant then called Malone's wife, Kay, and told her that Malone was having affairs on the road last season. "He told Kay, 'Keep your eye on Karl. You have no idea what your man is doing,'" Sapiga said. "... When we got home that night, she asked Karl, 'What the hell is going on?'... "Karl was stunned by all this. After everything Kobe went through last year (Bryant's sexual assault trial in Colorado), he was the one who really reached out to him and stood by him. And then to say that Karl is making advances at his wife, that's ridiculous. ... I don't know why she felt that way. ... "Karl and Kay were the biggest supporters of Kobe last year when he went through everything. But now the shot that he's taking at my friend and my brother, this just makes me mad. Every time I hear about Kobe's name, it makes me sick. ... "Why she said what she said, I have no clue. But it's her word against his, and obviously Kobe decided to stick by his wife. But he's the one who cheated on his wife last year." Reach Broderick Turner at bturner@pe.com.
Well, it is clear as day that the Bryant family are the ones to blame for this and that poor widdle Karla is the victim. I mean we have testimony from a non-biased witness here; what else do we need?
It's time for Malone's kid to speak out on the matter! The people want to know! It seems like even the LA Times is starting to turn on Kobe This just in - Carmelo Anthony sends Kobe flowers for getting the heat off of him Evan
I think Malone just signed with the Spurs. False alarm. Justin (Portland): I just heard that the Spurs are holding a press conference later today to announce the signing of Karl Malone? Have you heard anything about this? SportsNation Marc Stein: (2:05 PM ET ) You heard wrong. The Spurs are having a press conference today, but I'm told it is NOT a Malone press conference. And it does NOT involve the current roster. http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=6743
Kobe was just on PTI and when they asked him about why he ratted on Malone, he said it wasn't him that revealed the story (which is true). The story was spilled and he was asked about it, so he gave his side of the matter. He also expressed remorse about the Shaq incident. He did spout some bs about not being involved in Shaq and Phil's departure from LA. I know drama just seems to find Kobe and that he is egotistical and arrogant, but I don't know if he deserves as much blame about these two issues as he gets. About the Shaq incident, put yourselves in Kobe's shoes. You already cheated on your wife (which of course is the first thing you don't do). You're now being questioned by police, but you also know in the back of your mind that Shaq's told you stories of paying people off to keep their mouths shut. If you were in Kobe's shoes, wouldn't you want to explore that option? It's not like he went out in the media and pronounced it to the world or said it with the knowledge that it might leaked to the media. And now about the Malone incident, Kobe probably should have said "no comment" when asked about the situation, but he didn't leak the story. And if your wife tells you that somebody hit on her and made her uncomfortable, would you just sit back and laught at her?
But the interesting thing is that this guy's story is actually the same as the one that's out there. It's just more believable because it conforms a little bit mroe to reality. Is Malone's comment a little off color? Definitely, but considering the relationship that apparently existed between the Malones's and the Bryant's, construing it as a hit on Kobe's wife seems stupid. Especially considering that the question posed by Kobe's wife in the first place is a little odd itself.
