I have no idea how these entries get made http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derek_Fisher http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vujacic
What will a flargrant 1 do now? what if we had lost by 1 or 2 points last game?? Most importantly, if the refs would have called this flagrant when Kobe threw the elbow, Ron getting pissed and walking up to Kobe would not have happened, thus Ron would not have been ejected and it was a whole different situation. What the heck will a flagrant 1 do now? 2 shots and the ball.... you cant carry over what happened in one game to the next and expect everyone to be happy. screw the league if this happens. the most inconsistent decision making ever.
This is what Vujasuck's said: Through hard work with teammate, Kobe Bryant, Vujačić has excelled at becoming a great role player for his team. He logs important minutes playing off the bench, doing all the dirty work. Like swinging elbows at opponents' faces, as well as reaching, grabbing, holding, and taking cheap shots (or as he calls it, "playing defense"). I -- I mean whoever did that -- don't wanna repost it 'cause I think they log your IP address then mark you with a scarlet H for Hater. Doing it once probably isn't considered abuse, but after that ...
Agreed. If he had, then that + the elbow to Artest might have Kobe sitting out Game 3 (not sure). Either way, as long as the Rocks make the adjustments (deal with Yao being fronted, Kobe on Brooks & Ron keeps his head in game, etc) from Game 2, they should get the win.
The is more of a test for the league than anyone or anything else. The league has suspended anyone who has given an elbow above the chest and that's the precedent. If they now let Kobe off the hook, in my opinion, it would be a travesty to the game by basically saying superstars are above the rules other players are - the NBA might as well just come out and say that.
Thats bs..if the NBA is going to follow their rule book, then Kobe should be suspended for blatantly throwing that elbow.
