I know the Rockets were interested in him last season. He's an unrestriced free agent. He's a big body, 7-1 280lbs. He locks down the paint. Not because he is a good defender, but because he fills it up so much. He would be a good option as a backup center.
Yeah, he would be, but as of right now we shouldn't really be too concerned about backups. 1.) Get a superstar 2.) Get a quality center 3.) Upgrade the team, period 4.) Shorten the rotation 8.) .... maybe give Fesenko a look.
If we can't get DeAndre Jordan (which I km sure we wont) Why not loom at this guy I'm gonna assume he will be way cheaper than other centers but... Yet hes basically a low risk high reward player IMO
I don't get the big body excuse. So any player over 6'9 that weighs over 250 pounds can get a contract in the NBA because they are a "big body." Its amazing what one good playoff series can do for a player.
Thabeet and Hill are pathetically weak. Hill has good skill set but a big without strength is worthless. Thats why Hayes (stronger) will keep on starting because nobody realizes all they need to do is get core stronger, no instead they will work on useless countless hours freethrows. ****!!!!!!!!! Kysenko is ahead in the strength department, now our staff can let him shoot those crucial freethrows that he will never get.
I'm intrigued with him. Big boy. And hasn't really been given a chance. Seems to have nice post skills. Slow. But he durn big.
What a giant center triumverate -- Yao, Thabeet and Fesenko. Paint me happy if Morey picked up Fesenko -- he is a Marc Gasol clone. Pair him with Montiejunas yelling plays in Russian, which would really get interesting if Goran Dragic knows the language. Red Rowdies would take on a whole new meaning.
Fesenko would be a nice pick up. We need a 7 footer on this roster, even if he is a 3rd string center. Id rather have him over Biedrins.
