ironically enough kyrie would be a perfect fit next to harden if he bought in. He certainly fits better next to harden compared to westbrick or wall
Siakam is part of a 1-6 team..Jaylen brown seems like it’s not going to happen. Simmons would be the ideal trade
Siakam is a horrible option too 1 good half from Levert has u saying a Nets deal is looking better, but he finished the game 9-25 for 22 points because he’s mediocre, and at 26, he barely has any upside...Prince is irrelevant, and Allen is nothing special and about to get a payday that Nets offer is just as trash today as it was yesterday, last week, and even last month Harden has a 15 and 11 game, and some people are saying he “quit”...Ben Simmons had 11, 4, and 2 in 32 minutes tonight against a team missing their 2 best players, and I guess that’s him trying? I’m also good on him if Brown isn’t happening, Rockets can keep trying to pry MPJ away from Denver before taking the biggest basketball L of the century by taking BK’s offer
There’s 3 options and only 3 imo mpj brown Simmons that’s it with Philly always being the likelihood but honestly even me who was high on Simmons is starting to pivot away from him being the best returnable asset
Nets offer is was and always will be a joke. That’s a break glass in case of emergency worst case doomsday scenario
the only scenario I would even consider a trade with them is if Harden was about to leave in free agency, so we’re working out a S&T just to get at least something back Levert, Prince, and Allen have zero upside, and none of them are anything special...Allen will look as good as the playmakers he’s surrounded by make him, and even then, he will never be anything amazing Harden and KD still have several years of high level play in them, so those picks are nothing
MPJ and Brown are pretty much 1A and 1B, but if Brown is looking very unlikely, then MPJ is my #1 option by far with no else coming anywhere close
I saw on Reddit on russilo’s podcast they had some scouts he interviewed and debated Simmons vs brown and 2 out of 3said they’d rather have brown over Simmons. Which is a stark contrast I’d say to a year ago this time
Brown has definitely raised his stock a lot, and Simmons is still basically the same guy he was his rookie year with no signs of that changing...still has the same weaknesses, and they haven’t improved...all the things he does well are still at the level they were at his rookie season to me, he’s basically a Draymond Green with more talent...Draymond Green was that playmaking 3rd option or 4th option when KD arrived, and no one is asking him to be more than that...Ben Simmons I view as a 3rd option playmaking oversized PG that can’t and won’t shoot, but people say he’s some foundational piece that u build around between Brown and someone like Simmons, it’s really a no-brainer
I'll take Kyrie, Allen, Prince and 3 first rounders and a couple of pick swaps a few years down the road
The only person that fit great next to Harden was Clint. Harden don’t share with no one else unless you’re in the corner for a three or an ally-up!
