Realistically what do you guys think is the best plausible package the Cavs can get for Kyrie?

Keep in mind, offers centered on great first round picks or highly drafted & unproven rookies like Ingrahm/Simmon/Fultz etc likely wont be considered since Lebron I'm guessing want developed difference makers and proven veterans.

The Suns/Knicks/Cavs one is interesting, but there's gotta be a better scenario right?

He should have went to Cavs management back in June prior to the draft and asked for a trade. He would have probably been in a clipper uniform by now with CP3 going to Cleveland.

The lists of teams he wants to go to are either unrealistic from a talent transaction perspective or simply just dreamcasting.

Knicks, Suns, and Celtics have by far the most to offer imo (if Boston wants to go in that direction).

    Knicks - Carmelo + pick(s)
    Suns - Bledsoe + pick(s)
    Celtics - IT + Lottery pick(s)

Wouldn't be totally shocked either if the Cavs FO told Kyrie to shut up cause they're not trading him since they won't get equal compensation. He should've let them know a month ago.

Because he'd be playing with one of his best buddies and he'd be on the Eastern favorite to go to the Finals. Does swapping out Irving for Melo make Cleveland worse? Of course. Does Melo think that, that he's a worse player than Irving? Probably not. In his mind, him for Irving is probably still a "three star team" and he gets to play with LeBron.

    yeah, totally agree.

Imagine, trading Kyrie for Butler! =O
JR, Butler, Lebron, Love, Thompson. I think that might be a better team than last years Cavs. Definitely better defensively.

Other possibilities of course was, CP3 & PG13. Too bad for the Cavs Irving was too slow.

But aside from missed oppurtunities, what are the other possible deals you'd do if you were the cavs gm?

Cavs need to try and get AD. Kyrie plus stuff for AD.

Also Pelicans can build around Kyrie and DMC lol

There are better offers out there if all you're getting from Phoenix is Beldsoe and fillers.

KRYIE IS COWARD!! COWARD! And not BILL COWARD!

KYRIE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WINNING. He just wants Stats and fame like Westbrook.

If he cared about winning, he would be like KD or Harden where all they care about is winning and having great teammates.

Harden asked management to add another superplayer even though it would mean he would no longer be the best Point Guard in the NBA or on the team. Harden doesn't care. He just wants to win.

KYRIE and Westbrook just care about MVP AND FAME.

KD and HARDEN = WINNER and BALLERS

Fair assumption. They almost certainly will be. Whatever team Lebron is on is a pretty safe bet.

If they get Melo and sign DROSE for minimum, then they are still favorite to Win the East and lose in 4 games in the Finals.

With or without Kryie, the result is going to be the same in the NBA FINALS for the CAVS

Simmons for Kyrie, Redick can be 6th man. Kyrie Fultz backcourt is nasty.

Anyone think Lebron told Kyrie he's leaving so he's just helping Kyrie get out ahead of time.

it'll definitely be a lot less exhausting when kyrie goes back to getting the postseason off.
