I didn't say the trade was a bad move for the Cavs considering the circumstances. They were in a tough spot. Speaking of K-Love and Crowder, I expect them to be traded next summer because the Cavs will go into a full rebuild.
The Cavs won this trade, hands down. People seem to neg Thomas in favor of kyrie since kyrie has prototypical size. But the problem is kyrie don't play defense anyway. And unlike kyrie, Thomas was able to carry the celtics. And not only that but you are going to give me a lottery pick as well. The celtics are going to hate this trade in less than a season.
People thin kyrie is some mega star. You want to talk about no defense he is on that list.Kyrie is a low level star that had his image boosted being with lebron. good shooter, great handles, and layups but no defense and definitely not a leader. He is saved again since he will play with better players in boston.
They keep saying Irving is so much better than IT because Irving can play defense when he wants to. LOL. Irving can not play defense if his life depended on it. They keep saying, "watch how he stopped Curry in the NBA 2016 finals. Curry couldn't get past by Irving at all. That shows you Irving can defend anyone when he wants too." LOL. These guys are so stupid, they keep going back to the NBA 2016 Finals when ever someone say, "TTHOMPSON can't guard the rim" - Watch what he did to Curry in the 2016 Finals "LOVE can't defend." - Watch what he did to Curry in the NBA 2016 Finals. Curry couldn't even get past him or shoot over Love "Irving can't defend"- He completely shut down Curry in the 2016 NBA FINALS. They completely forgot that Curry couldn't blow pass me in the 2016 Finals because he was injured!!!
A pretty insightful read from IT: https://www.theplayerstribune.com/isaiah-thomas-trade-celtics-cavaliers/
Whoa, Nellie. Cavs knew just what, exactly what they were trading for. Q is: would Trader Danny have made the trade with two good IT hips?
Trader Danny definitely OK probably still would have traded IT with two good hips. Don't think he had much interest in backing up the Brinks truck. Who is going to miss more games this year: Rose or IT? Jose Calderon for starting PG! http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...n-return-potentially-career-ending-hip-injury The Celtics were either not aware of or had not disclosed Thomas' injury for months, fired the team's trainer, and then traded Thomas. Though Thomas' hip condition was only made public in May, league sources told ESPN.com that the Celtics organization was not certain exactly when the labral tear occurred. The Towns collision on March 15 was one possible aggravation point, but the initial timing of the tear remains unclear.
