not sure how that applies to having a chance to compete when he doesn't even want to be there. and then the feeling becomes mutual I don't see it as actually competing. You're just going through the motions until its finally over
Suns were rumored a weeks ago to be exploring the possibility of trading CP3 in the offseason. CP3 and Crowder for Kyrie works in the trade machine and keeps both teams competitive.
Philly should absolutely negotiate with them. Maxey+Thybulle+Harris for Kyrie. You're the favorites to win the east with Harden/Kyrie/Embiid. Harden could potentially leave this summer so you need a replacement star guard for him. Just extend Kyrie.
I'd give the Nets their picks back, Jabari and KPJ for Durant. Get er done More....errrr...Stoney twist my arm and I'd throw in Green
Kyrie's randomness is not worth causing chemistry issues with your top guys. I know Kyrie is ****ing random and weird, but who he thought he would request a trade a few days before the deadline? I didn't.
What if Kyrie came here too as part of the package (some third team facilitating with EG outgoing)? It would be an ironic swap, for sure
I'd have no problem with it as long as we don't go crazy and give him a 5-yr guaranteed extension. I'd give him a 3-yr with team options on 2 additional seasons.
