I was wrong about Morey, but right about Lowry all season long. I did say that this team was farked after Lowry's first injury.

Guys, there is a reason Lowry was not traded! (the anedoctal evidence is that teams like Philly, and Washington wanted Lowry in any of the discussed trades).

We need Lowry. He's the only decent defender we have in our backcourt (ariza is a 3, not a 2) and he has better court vision than brooks.

Lowry is probalbly the most valuable player on our team...

-He controls the tempo of the game
-He can play the pg and move AB over to the 2
-He will make the game easier for Kevin Martin
    -Good Defender

If you look at are record with out Klowry it is very bad...We need him healthy and back with the team because the Rockets have been very hard to watch lately

You don't have to worry about that. Morey has said he will resign Lowry. More alarming to me is how Brooks is getting exposed in Lowry's absence.

WE need Lowery because he is the closest thing we have to a Point Guard!
Brooks being mainly a decent Shooting Guard :p

Lowry provides defense and good passes.. Brooks isn't doing well by himself.. we need lowry back.

Lowrys ankle.. just another injury for the rockets to deal with  hope he comes back soon because we are getting killed without his play calling and great defense.

If Kyle Lowry is going to be our PG, AB should be traded during this off-season because Martin is a better SG than him.

AB has the versatility to play both PG and SG though, that's a real good thing to have. On many nights, his speed creates mismatch as well. His game is not fit as a big time PG or a big time decision maker, but he is very useful like Landry as a finisher.

I agree with the points you made but will AB be willing to accept a backup role. Lowry has shown to be a better PG in the clutch and Martin, despite his sucktitude in the last tw games, is a much better SG than AB.

We have built up AB to be our PG of the future. Is AB going to be happy with the demotion?

Your point is valid. AB can be used as part of a trade asset if things don't work out.

I don't know if that's a demotion. Manu Ginobili did that and won the whole thing. Odom did that and won the whole thing.

Coming off the bench doesn't mean less minutes, on the night AB is hot or he he gets a mis-match, he should get tons of minutes.

In fact, I think AB will be an even better scoerer if he doesn't have to worry too much about setting up the offense.

It is easier for you and I to accept the demotion for AB. :p Players, for the most part, have monstrous egos especially undersized NBA PGs. I will be pleasantly surprised if AB does accept such a role with grace.

Yes, AB would be a huge weapon off the bench. He would scorch other team's 2nd unit. Not having the burden of running the team would also calm him down and make him a better scorer.

    We can only hope.

Yep, at least another week and this is going to be a tough week.

Only team I can see us beating are the Spurs since they are struggling and not the same ole' Spurs we are used to.

I agree. There is no way AB will not sulk (sorry double negs) if he is sent to the bench. Not after going big time in last year's playoffs.

Yet, we know Lowry would be better at PG given the assets we have collected.

    Tough decisions.

Kyle Lowry is the man. He basically controls the tempo of the game and when the Rockets are getting sloppy, he takes control of it.

    I love Lowry.

    Intresting Lowry Stat

I know wins and losses can't be attributed to one player

But we are 26-22 with him and 2-5 without him.

Obviously he hasn't missed a lot of games.

The strength of this team is the bench and w/o lowry the bench just isn't as good.

He has by far the best +/- on the team at 9.2.

He also leads the team in points per shot attempt.
